šŸ“¢ BLUETTI Community Migration Announcement

Dear BLUETTI Members ,

We would like to sincerely thank all of you for your continued support and love for the official BLUETTI Forum over the years. As BLUETTI continues to grow and evolve, we are committed to creating a more seamless and convenient user experience for everyone.

To better connect our products, services, and community interactions, the original BLUETTI Forum will soon be officially discontinued, and all community features will be fully integrated into the BLUETTI App Community.

The new community is now available on both mobile devices and web browsers, allowing you to stay connected and engaged anytime, anywhere.

:bulb: Friendly Reminder: The original forum will remain accessible for a transition period.
During this time, we will migrate existing posts to the new community platform.
However, due to formatting compatibility limitations, some comments may appear collapsed, and video content may not be fully preserved.

We strongly recommend saving screenshots or downloading any important posts, memories, or personal content you’d like to keep.

Why Are We Moving to the BLUETTI App Community?

Many users already rely on the BLUETTI App to manage their power stations and energy devices. By integrating the community directly into the App, we can provide a true all-in-one experience — from device management and troubleshooting to discussions, knowledge sharing, and community engagement.

The new BLUETTI App Community has already been running steadily for quite some time and has received tremendous support and positive feedback from users around the world :sparkles:
Here are some of the highlights:

I’m disappointed in the decision to shut down this forum and migrate to https://forum.bluettipower.com/

This forum is using the very popular Discourse forum, which has become something of an industry standard. For example, Victron uses Discourse as well, see https://community.victronenergy.com/

A quick review of the new forum shows a number of limitations:

  • there is no styled text, Markdown, or RTF editor
  • you can’t edit your public-facing username
  • no way to configure email notifications
  • every time I visit, I’m required to log in again
  • you can’t open message threads in a new tab (the browser hijacks the right-click menu and the keyboard equivalent)

In short, the new forum feels more geared towards social media influencers, and less like a serious tool for sharing information related to technical support. That may make sense for Bluetti’s $100 power banks, but for Bluetti’s $10000 home energy systems, it feels like the wrong choice.

My vote: keep this forum, update it to a more recent version of Discourse, and use the other forum for social media.

One thing I don’t like about the ā€œnewā€ forum is that I miss the category menu on the left side.
For example, I have an EP, so I mainly read (and comment) in that category because I can speak from experience there.
.
In the new app-optimized forum, I see the new posts in the middle, can’t sort them by category, and would have to sift through hundreds of posts every day just to see if anything new is happening in the EPxy section…
.
I used to enjoy checking in daily on the old forum and reading up on what was going on; the new one doesn’t appeal to me at all, especially since I generally only comment on forum posts on my desktop, not on my smartphone—I miss the folders, editing programs, and tools for sorting and editing images…
.
I might pop into the new forum sometimes if the old one is gone, but I certainly won’t be active there anymore, unfortunately…

Also, it looks like the new forum is private (requiring a login to even view messages) which also means that useful info won’t be found by search engines.

I logged in with my e-mail address to the new forum at https://forum.bluettipower.com but none of my post history is there. I just got an empty account with 0 posts. Please fix this so my account is properly transferred to the new forum.

Also, I can’t find the subforums / categories in the new forums.

I have to agree with the others, especially the fact that existing posts have not been migrated to the new forum. Sooo much useful info that will be lost :(

In addition, check out the latest ā€œcontentā€ on the new forum - it’s all one-sentence posts which look like bot spam / karma farming:

Hi, I’ve been trying out the new forum. When on a pc I like to right click and open various sections of the forum in different tabs, especially if there is something I want to post / reply on later that I don’t want to ā€˜lose’. I’ve found I can’t do this on the new forum, which is a bit frustrating. Could this aspect be improved please?

@soylentgreen that’s because there’s an activity for Prime Day where you have to post something to get 2 extra spins on the lucky wheel
