EB3A shows overload when not overloaded

Добрий день, Bluetti.

@BLUETTI this issue has been ongoing for at least a year and a half based on various posts to this forum, is there an ETA on when firmware testing for a fix will be done?

Hello @ICbook, For this issue, we have already applied to push a new DSP update to fix it.

Our IT department will push the latest version of firmware to your machine in 24 hours. Please upgrade it tomorrow.
Please do not load any device when upgrading it.
Please let us know if it works.

Hi @NM_Ben, Our EB3A has been released for a long time and has multiple versions of firmware. The new firmware is only applicable to certain versions of the machine, so we cannot perform a batchly push.
We only conduct individual pushes upon customer request, which is a way to protect the majority of customers from unnecessary disruptions.
I appreciate your kind understanding and patience.

@BLUETTI I have a EB3A purchased in Mar 23 from Amazon that has always gone into overload when charging. Doesn’t matter is anything is connected to it or not. It could have a small load on it, or just turned off and charging, it goes into overload randomly every 6 to 24 hours. I was going to return it, but was hoping for a firmware fix eventually. Hopefully you can provide me with a fix now. Here is serial number for my unit.

Thank you

3rd request for firmware for EB3A2236007620480. This device is a paperweight to me with this overload issue.

EB3A is a gambling. You get a good unit or a dud. Return it while you can and avoid the trouble.

It could be a software glitch or an issue with the wireless charging pad causing the overload. You might want to monitor it to see if it happens again.

On another note, Surah Ar-Rahman beautifully reminds us of Allah’s countless blessings and mercy in every aspect of life.

Could you please provide its DSP version number, please?

Hi, the DSP version is v2056.13. Also, the ARM version is v2057.11 if you need that.

One more thing is has been doing is saying it’s 100% charged while plugged in, but when you unplug it from AC and try to use it, it will say it’s at 0% and lock up until you plug it back into AC where it will charge back up again. Not sure if that is related to the overload issue it also has, but it has done it a few times already. Basically it never has problems while charging, but I have to charge it to 100%, and disconnect it from AC right away if I want to rely on it to power anything off battery when I need it.

Thanks!

4th request. EB3A2236007620480 DSP 2056.10

@MrGoodBurn @bludo-arc
Expect to receive a DSP update push within 24 hours, please update then, and if the update doesn’t work, please contact support by email for further resolution.

Hi I am having the same issue. Just tested the uni once and then stored it in a dark and cool place. When we had a power cut last week it had to power the fridge, but it failed and showed the overload sign. Very disappointed by the product. Updated now all the drivers, but overload problem persist, please advise: SN 60495QE22261757

I am also having the same overload in ups mode issue with mine. When plugged into AC charging with nothing else connected it will eventually show overload, and then I have to unplug it and cycle the AC switch on and off. otherwise it will sit in overload state and kill itself to 1 percent even when plugged in.
Can I get a firmware update as well please:

SN EB3A2238007134290
arm: 2062.02
dsp: 2056.10

Sorry, but nothing changed. :slightly_smiling_face:

Hi @ICbook, I am sorry for the inconvenience.
According to what you mentioned, the issue occurred after upgrading the ARM. Would you like to revert to the original ARM version?

If so, we can help you request a rollback to the original firmware.

Hi @mlamla, I am sorry for the inconvenience.
The SN number you provided is not correct, please find another barcode starting with EB3A. Or you can find it from the Bluetti app.
Meanwhile, please tell us the current firmware version.
I have attached a screenshot for reference.

By the way, please note that if you need my assistance, please @BLUETTI_CARE, otherwise, I might not see your message and be able to help you promptly.

Yes, please, rollback my Bluetti EB3A to the original firmware.
Thank you.

@BLUETTI_CARE Mine also has the Inverter overload/A001 Error issue and once in that state, will turn off AC and continue to drain the battery.
Can I please get the upgrade?
