EB3A shows overload when not overloaded

Hi @Hatrickn, Our IT department will push the latest version of firmware to your machine in 24 hours. Please upgrade it tomorrow.
Please do not load any device when upgrading it.
Please let us know if it works.

It’s been a week and looking good so far
Before, it would get the error and stop working anywhere from 3 or 4 times a day to every day or two. Since doing the update, it has stayed online with no issues (knock on wood).
Thanks!

Hello @BLUETTI_CARE - I have the same issue, overload during UPS passthrough with minimal load (48w) or when plugged into AC with no load attached.
Could you please push the update to EB3A2326000725048
ARM V2062.03
DSP V2056.13

Thanks!

Hi @NM_Ben, Now I have applied to upgrade your firmware.
Our IT department will push the latest version of firmware to your unit in 24 hours.
Please upgrade the DSP tomorrow. Please do not load any device when upgrading it.
Please let us know if it does help.

Hi could you please initiate the firmware update again. I checked but there was no firmware available for my device.

Hi @mlamla, I apologize for the inconvenience. After consulting the engineers again, they informed me that your firmware is already up to date, so a new firmware update cannot be pushed. We recommend contacting customer service to arrange for repairs.

thanks for the prompt reply. This is, however, super disappointing. This unit is out of warranty. As said, it was unpacked, charged and then stored away to be used as a back-up, it ultimate purpose. Which it failed recently.

Hi @mlamla, I am sorry for the inconvenience.
We’d like to know how long this EB3A has been stored. Regular use is the best way to maintain the battery—at a minimum, it should be charged once every three months.

Since this unit is out of warranty, would you be open to paid repair services? If so, please send us a message with your order number and other relevant details so we can arrange further assistance.

I wanted to post an update on my EBA3 unit since the modified firmware update from Bluetti. Since this update has been pushed to my unit about 3 months ago; it has been working almost perfectly. I did have one incident where it was plugged in and charged at 100%, I disconnected power, and tried to run a device on battery. When I turned the inverter on, it said battery was a 0% and froze up. I reconnected it to power, it charged back up, and started working normally again. Since this issue; it has been working flawlessly. No more overload messages, or other issues. I don’t use this a lot; it mostly sits charging waiting for a power outage. My only complaint now about this unit is the fan which has been noisy since day one, but it’s still works, and doesn’t bother me bad enough to do anything about it.

Thanks Buetti for fixing this issue!

Yes the overload fixed , but the fan controller still buzz like hell making this unit not recommendable for new users.

I’m having the same overload issue when using as an ups. Any updates to this issue?
