AC180P turns off randomly

Happy New Year and best wishes for the coming year to everyone.

My Bluetti AC180P shuts down randomly when used as a UPS. May I ask for a firmware update to be pushed to my device? Its details are as follows:

Location: Ukraine
Device: Bluetti AC180P
SN:2335000920872
Current Firmware: ARM v2089.04, DSP v2088.03, BMS v1039.01

Thank you in advance,
Liuda

Good afternoon, I bought a new bluetti ac180p station, the first month it did not discharge to 0% (there was no need) and then I noticed - when the station discharges to 70 - 67% and sharply shows 0%
It charges similarly to 30 - 33% and sharply shows 100%
I calibrated it - nothing helped
(That is, 1/3 of the ac180p capacity is available to me)
Provide new firmware for bms and dsp to fix the problem, thank you)

Hi, dear Moderator,
Thank you so much for arranging the push. Your IT Dept exceeded expectations - the firmware was available almost immediately after your reply :) It has already been installed and is being tested now. So far, everything appears to be working well (touch wood!). Many thanks again, and have a great day :)

Hi @Canvit, we have found that your BMS is already running the latest version, so no new firmware can be pushed.
Besides the SOC fluctuation issue, has your AC180P experienced random automatic shutdowns? Have any error codes appeared on the app?
We consider that this AC180P may not have been fully charged. In addition to AC charging, could you please test DC charging? Charging via a vehicle charger would be preferable; if that is not available, you can also try solar charging.

Hi @Liuda, thank you for your update.
It’s great to know that the issue has been successfully resolved — that really makes us happy.
Thank you for your kind wishes, and we also wish you all the best going forward!

Hello, my Bluetti AC180P has the same problem as other people describe here. When used as UPS, while at 100% battery and losing power from grid, the station turns off by itself. Would you please also push this firmware to me? My Bluetti current firmware versions are as follows:

AC180P2349001840521

ARM: 2089.04

DSP: 2088.03

Thank you so much

Hello @bluetti_care and everyones…, Im new for ac180p , learning all about bluetti user problems, especially about temperature, I make my own conclusions about the sensor, almost all bluetti products is too sensitif, thats why I put another 12v Fan that run 10 hrs from 07am to 5pm with timer switch, I use 450wp PV bifacial solar charger (silent charging) , pass through, ac180p still running smoothly when ambient around it is 35-38 degrees, ac output almost hit 1000w

Arm : v2125. 04
Dsp : v2126. 03
IOT : 9046. 01 (not upgrade yet)
BMS : v1048. 05

Thanks

Hey, I have the same problem as described above. When at 100% battery and losing power from grid the station just shut downs by itself. Could you please also update my firmware?

Hi @Anton4, thank you for letting us know.
I have applied to upgrade your system to our IT department. If the new firmware is available, they will complete the push within 24 hours.
Please upgrade the firmware tomorrow. Please do not load any device when upgrading it.
Please let us know if it works.

Hi @Kapt-03Barbbosa, thank you for your attention to BLUETTI.
We do not quite understand your requirement. If you think the sensor is overly sensitive, our firmware will not modify the performance of the sensor.
Thank you for your sharing. If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact us at any time.

Thank you. Is there a way to rebind my AC180P to my current email? It seems to be bound to an email that’s not mine.

AC180P UPS Full Shutdown on Grid Loss with Compressor Fridge - Likely Inductive Load Issue, Not Firmware

Hi everyone and @BLUETTI_CARE / @BLUETTI,

I want to share my experience with the random/full shutdown issue in UPS mode on my AC180P (EU model), as it might help others and provide feedback to Bluetti team.

Device details:

  • Model: Bluetti AC180P
  • SN: 2428001392174
  • Firmware: IoT v9046.04, ARM v2125.04, DSP v2126.80 (pushed by support), BMS v1048.05
  • Location: Ukraine (frequent outages and voltage spikes)

Initial problem: Station fully shut down on grid loss in UPS mode (mostly at 100% charge), requiring manual restart. This was a known mass issue.

Support pushed DSP v2126.80 — after update, the basic shutdown at 100% without load disappeared. UPS worked perfectly with light/resistive loads (router, TV, chargers).

However, when I connected a standard compressor fridge (~150W nominal, typical household) to the AC output:

  • On grid loss, the station fully shut down instead of seamless switch to battery.
  • This happened exactly at the moment of switching to inverter (grid disconnection).
  • No issues on grid restore.
  • As soon as I disconnected the fridge — UPS works flawlessly again, no shutdowns even at 100%.

Conclusion: The problem is not (or not only) firmware — it’s likely physics of inductive loads (compressor motor inrush current during switchover) + sensitivity of the inverter overload protection. The inverter sees high startup spike as overload and triggers full shutdown for safety.

Power Lifting mode is enabled, ECO off — didn’t fully resolve with fridge.

This seems like a hardware limitation rather than a pure software bug. Many users report similar with fridges/pumps — perhaps Bluetti can improve inverter tolerance in future firmware or next models?

For now, I disconnected the fridge from the station (it’s ok with short outages) — everything stable.

Thanks to support for the firmware push — it fixed the base issue! Feedback for improvement.

Best,
Victor (Ukraine)
