AC180P turns off randomly

Hi @Saulus, Your firmware is already up to date, so we are unable to push a new firmware version to you.
Since you mentioned that the issue occurred after the IOT upgrade, we can roll back your device to the original IOT firmware. Do you think this will help resolve the problem? Please assist us with the testing, and we look forward to your feedback.

Hello @BLUETTI_CARE .

Please don’t roll back anything! The previous firmware had even more problems!

Leave everything as is!! Don’t touch anything))

Dear @BLUETTI_CARE,
Device details:

Model: AC180P (full serial: AC180P2352000405124)

ARM firmware: v2089.04

DSP firmware: v2088.03

BMS firmware: v1039.01

After updating the ARM firmware, the fan behavior changed.
The fan often does not turn off after the load is reduced. Sometimes it turns on randomly at very low load and keeps running.
The only way to stop the fan is to turn off the AC output (not just remove the load).

This issue did not exist before the update.

HEllO! I have a problem when the station works in UPS mode and turn off ( randomly turns off when the grid disconnects in UPS mode.) Please push the new firmware. Thanks you in advance

Hello
I have the same problem with it turning off every few hours
Could you send me a firmware update?

Hi @Saulus, thank you for your confirmation.
We will not push the original firmware to you.

Hi @BVolodymyr, thank you for your update.
We have reported this matter to the technical department and will contact you as soon as we receive their response.

Hi @Alex87, thank you for contacting us.
Now I have applied to upgrade your system to our IT department. If the new firmware is available, they will complete the push within 24 hours.
Please upgrade the firmware tomorrow. Please do not load any device when upgrading it.
Please let us know if it works.

Hello, unfortunately the situation has not changed, the station still reboots from time to time, but already at 50%, and 100%, please tell me if there are still any current firmware for my device?
Thank you for your time.

Congratulations, unfortunately the situation has not changed, the station has started working better but at 58% it reboots cyclically, and at 100% it also reboots, maybe there are still current firmware versions?
Thank you for your understanding.

Hello @BLUETTI_CARE .

Thank you for your continued support and suggestions.

Regarding the rollback to the original firmware — this is not quite what I would prefer. I believe the current version still includes valuable improvements that your team has worked hard on. Therefore, I would rather wait for a future general firmware update that addresses the issue more comprehensively.

From the Bluetti community forum, it’s clear that this random shutdown problem in UPS mode (on grid loss, especially at 100% charge) affects many other AC180P users as well, even in recent discussions (main ongoing thread: AC180P turns off randomly). A new public update would likely resolve it for everyone.

In the meantime, could you please confirm if any new firmware is planned soon, or escalate this for a possible individual test fix for my SN?

Thank you for understanding — this is very important for me due to ongoing power outages in Ukraine.

Best regards,
Victor

Hello @BLUETTI_CARE,
Unfortunately, the firmware update is unavailable (didn’t arrive) in the Bluetti app. Could you please send me the latest firmware version for my device? Thank you in advance.

Hi @Alex87, that is indeed a bit odd. We have already requested a re-push.
Additionally, could you please confirm that your SN is AC180P2434003332887?

Hi @Saulus, thank you for providing the detailed information. We have followed up on this matter with our technical department again, and they informed us that there is still a brand-new version DSP v212680 available.
We have applied for the push of this version, so please perform the upgrade tomorrow.
We look forward to your new feedback.

Hi @Technomax, we would like to know if the app displayed any error codes when the problem occurred.
We would like to confirm a few more details: Does the app display any error messages when AC charging fails to work?
Please note that a full device shutdown is not the same as the screen dimming or turning off (screen timeout/sleep mode).
After shutting down the AC180P, does it restart automatically, or do you need to power it on manually?
We would also like to confirm: When the issue occurred, was the AC180P connected to a power source at all times? Or did it shut down only when the power supply was unplugged?

We suggest that you recalibrate the device first, which should help resolve the issue.
We look forward to your feedback.

Please follow the steps below to recalibrate it:

  1. Please discharge all the power (charge AC & DC appliances with the power station) until the SOC is 0%, turn off the machine, and leave it for 3 hours till it cools down.
  2. Please charge it again. Please do not load any device when charging it, and do not interrupt it while it is charging.

Please let us know if it does help.

Thank you very much for your assistance and for pushing the new DSP firmware!

I have successfully updated to DSP v2126.80. After thorough testing during several natural power outages (and careful manual checks), the UPS mode is working well so far: the station switches seamlessly to battery power without full shutdown or need for manual restart. No issues observed even at 100% charge.

I’ll continue monitoring it closely, but for now, everything looks stable and much improved.

Great work from the technical team — much appreciated, especially during these challenging times in Ukraine!

Wishing you a Happy New Year!

Hi @BLUETTI_CARE,
The new version has arrived and updated successfully. The device is working well and stable. Thank you very much. Happy New Year!

Hey, I have the same problem as described above. When at 100% battery and losing power from grid the station just shut downs by itself. Could you please also push this firmware to me?
