AC180P turns off randomly

@BLUETTI_CARE Hello!
Could you please tell me whether I will receive a notification when the update is available, or how the update process will work?

после обновления тестирую 8 дней, самопроизвольных отключений не было и в режиме UPS тоже,
а в режиме UPS разряд до 99% так и должно быть?

Hi @trickster, thank you for getting in touch with us.
Now I have applied to upgrade your system to our IT department. If the new firmware is available, they will complete the push within 24 hours.
Please upgrade the firmware tomorrow. Please do not load any device when upgrading it.
Please let us know if it works.

Hi @Robyt, Under normal circumstances, users will receive a notification and be directed to the Firmware Upgrade interface. Simply click the “Upgrade” button to complete the update.
However, I have checked with the technical team, and they informed me that your firmware is already up to date—hence, no further update can be pushed. Regarding the issue you’re encountering, they would like to confirm two details:

  1. Have you disabled the ECO mode?
  2. Is there any error code displayed on the AC180P?

We will conduct further troubleshooting based on your feedback.

Hi @AMRA, That is great! Thank you for the update, and we’re glad to hear the good news!

It didn’t help. Today it shut down about nine times at 72 percent.

Hello, if the machine is not charging and neither AC nor DC power is turned on, it will automatically shut down after a period of time to save power.

I have the same problem: it randomly turns off when the grid disconnects in UPS mode. Please push the new firmware. SN:

Hello.

After the update, the problem persisted. The charging station started turning off less frequently, but it still happens. What else can I do?

Hi @Artem3, We consider the grid voltage may be too low. Have you already enabled Grid Self-adaption mode?
Additionally, please try activating the Silent Charging mode. We hope this helps resolve the issue.

Hi @Boolbara, We have confirmed that your firmware is already up to date, so no further firmware updates can be pushed.
Could the issue be related to excessively low input voltage? Please click the AC icon during AC charging to check the specific input voltage.

Hello! @BLUETTI_CARE
I have the same issue with the UPS mode: the AC180 turns off completely when the grid power is disconnected.
Could you please send me the latest firmware for my device?

Bluetti AC180P — UPS mode shutdown issue after OTA update

Hello @BLUETTI_CARE,

My Bluetti AC180P completely shuts down when the grid power is lost while working in UPS mode.
Previously it switched to battery automatically, but now it fully powers off and must be turned on manually.

The problem appeared after the latest OTA update.
Before that, the unit worked perfectly for a year.
I have already performed a full reset and battery calibration — unfortunately, it did not help.
The issue persists: the station turns off instead of switching to battery when the AC input is disconnected.

Model: Bluetti AC180P
SN: 2428001392174
IoT: v9046.04
ARM: v2125.04
DSP: v2126.04
BMS: v1048.05

Could you please send me the latest firmware versions for my device or provide instructions to fix this issue?

Thank you very much!

Hi,
Yes, I have network adaptation enabled. The main problem is that the station shuts down when operating in output mode, after running as a UPS for a long time. It might turn off after 15 minutes of operation and not respond to any key presses, after which it restarts itself. This can happen several times at different intervals. After several such shutdowns, there are times when it can run for 5 hours without shutting down, but the problem reoccurs the next time it’s used.

Subject: Follow-Up: Critical UPS Mode Failure on AC180P - Urgent Assistance Needed (SN: 2428001392174) - Ukraine Power Outages

Dear BLUETTI Support Team / @BLUETTI_CARE,

I am following up on my previous request regarding the severe UPS mode issue with my Bluetti AC180P.

Unfortunately, the problem persists and has not been resolved — I have not received any firmware update yet. When the 220V grid power is disconnected, the station completely shuts down, disconnecting all connected devices (even at 100% battery charge). This requires manual restart to resume power output, which completely defeats the purpose of UPS mode. The station should seamlessly switch to battery without shutting down!

This issue is critically impacting my setup: I live in Ukraine, where power outages are frequent and unpredictable due to the ongoing situation. I specifically purchased the AC180P as a reliable UPS to protect my essential equipment (computer, router, etc.), but currently, it is unusable for this purpose.

Device Details (unchanged):

  • Model: Bluetti AC180P
  • SN: 2428001392174
  • Current Firmware:
  • IoT: v9046.04
  • ARM: v2125.04
  • DSP: v2126.04
  • BMS: v1048.05

I have already tried factory reset, battery calibration, disabling ECO mode, and all standard troubleshooting — nothing helps.

Given the urgency (daily outages here), could you please:

  1. Escalate this to your technical team and push the latest available firmware (or any specific fix for UPS shutdown/recovery issues) to my device immediately?
  2. Confirm the status of my previous request and provide an estimated timeline?

Thank you for your understanding and prompt action - reliable backup power is essential for me right now.

Best regards,
Victor
