AC180P turns off randomly

Hi @BLUETTI_CARE !
I have a problem: AC180P randomly turns off when the grid disconnects in UPS mode.
Please push the new firmware:
SN: AC180P2332000724925
ARM: v2089,03
DSP: v2088,03
BMS: v1039,01

Hi @nemiron1337, Your issue seems to be different from others—is it specifically about the UPS switching time on your AC180P taking as long as 1 second? We’ve requested the latest DSP v2126.04 firmware to be pushed to your device in an attempt to fix this issue. This may take up to 24 hours, so please try upgrading tomorrow.

In the meantime, we’d like to know what devices were connected when the issue occurred and what their rated power is. If possible, could you provide a video of the issue, upload it to a cloud service, and share the link with us?

Hi @Dimon, Now I have applied to upgrade your DSP to our IT department. They will push the latest version of firmware to your machine in 12 hours.
Please do not load any device when upgrading it.

Tried the v2088.03 and tested — so far it works flawlessly under previously listed conditions. Thanks for the swift response and your issue handling

Hi @BLUETTI_CARE. Im using voltage relay for device safety from voltage drops. It is configured to work in the range from 180v to 240v. Seems like AC180p have a huge drops to 140v or 270v when switching to battery or grid and my voltage relay reboots for safety, reboot time is set to 6s to provide a problem, for a normal use it is 180s. On the video i provided you can see even an lamp can blink when ac180p switches to battery. Im using voltage relay for fridge which consumes from 100 to 200wh. Sometimes ac180p switches well and relay don’t reboots. sometimes it switches with voltage drops. Is it safe for fridge voltage changes from 140v to 270v? Thank you for your support

Hi @g_man, I am glad to hear that! Thank you for sharing the test resut.

Hi! Send a firmware update to my device.

Hi @nemiron1337, We’ve reviewed your video and noticed that the AC180P has successfully switched the UPS. Your meter shows output voltage, but the indicator light isn’t on.

Regarding why the switching time seems long, it’s possible that some types of light bulbs don’t start immediately and need some time to warm up. We suggest trying another load with stable output to test again.

  1. Typically, LED bulbs light up instantly and don’t require preheating. However, fluorescent lamps, compact fluorescent lamps (CFLs), metal halide lamps, and high-pressure sodium lamps need to warm up because their operation involves gas discharge and electrode heating.

  2. Some light fixtures are designed with delayed startup, often to reduce inrush current impact or protect the equipment. This design might prevent the bulb from lighting up instantly.

Hi @emmanuel, I am glad to hear that! Thank you for sharing the test result.

Hi @Eugene2, I have applied to upgrade your DSP to our IT department. They will push the latest version of firmware to your machine in 12 hours.

Hi @BLUETTI_CARE!
4 days have passed, but unfortunately there is no new firmware avalible. Please push the new firmware to my AC180P:
SN: AC180P2332000724925
ARM: v2089,03
DSP: v2088,03
BMS: v1039,01
It still randomly turns off when the grid disconnects in UPS mode. I have read DSP v2088.04 should help.
Thanks!!

Hello. I have ups problem. It shuts down even if eco mode disabled. Noticed it happens if I didn’t touch device for few hours. If I interact with it and switch off grid cable it will turn on ac as it should.

My specs:
BMS 1048.03
ARM 2125.02
DSP 2126.02
Serial AC180P2428000131550

Hi, @BLUETTI_CARE! :hugs: Same problem here. Can you please push new firmware version v2089,04 to me?
AC18OP2342000920674
ARM v2089,03
DSP v2088,03
BMS v039,01

Please update my power station
AC18OP2352001353382
ARM version v2089,03
DSP version v2088,03

I have issues with the UPS mode at the station. My station sometimes completely shuts down when there’s a power outage or during minor voltage fluctuations (e.g., when an air conditioner, which is not connected to the station, is turned on).
