AC180 does not allow standard and turbo charge from generator

Or just a custom option with either a field to enter a value or up/down arrows to set the value.

@Bright How far along is the work?

@jack893 AC charging power from 350W to 300W. Pushed.

@Bright thank you. Firmware has been updated. As shown in the image, the input power is 102V 2.4A 246W. Please adjust to ‘100v 3A 300w’ input power.
The voltage in Japan is AC100V. To achieve 300W input power, the current must flow 3A.

@jack893 The new firmware has adjusted the charging power of the mute mode from the original 350W to 300W. This setting does not mean that it will always maintain a charging power of 300W, but it is the maximum value. The actual charging power will be affected by other factors, such as the temperature of the battery cell, or the SOC value (when the SOC is close to 100%, the actual charging power will significantly decrease).

@Bright Since a constant charging input of 300W is not achieved, I would like to return to 350W.
It was 3.64A370W with 350W charging input. Can I adjust the current to 3.5A and make it a 350W charging input?

@Bright I would be very happy if constant 300W charging input was realized.
Ecoplay can switch charging input to 300W, 500W, 700W, 900W, 1100W.
I’m thinking about replacing AC180 with ecoplay.

Pushed, please try again

@Bright Updated.
I’ll be testing this for a while. thank you.

@Bright @BLUETTI_CARE @BLUETTI
I decided to replace the AC180 with another portable bank to freely adjust the input wattage to my preference.
I would like to sell my AC180 to a buyer, so could you please push the latest public firmware available to the public?

@jack893 If provide us with the information, we can push the corresponding firmware according to the requirement.

@bright hi there, I just got the ac180 and have same issue with it while charging with a Champion 2500 watt generator. It stays at 300 for a bit then jumps to 800 for a few seconds then back down to 300. Has there been a fix or do I need to do the firmware that charges at 500w?

@Mase You can try turning on the “Grid Self-adaption” mode first. If it can charge normally after turning it on, then there is no need to update the firmware. If it still cannot charge, please tell me the SN and the current firmware version of your AC180. I will push a new firmware to you. which will adjust the charging power of the standard mode from 1000W to 500W.

@Bright
the problem is, at least in my case (I am the 3d starter…), the limit via firmware (@ 600W) is working properly ONLY when connected to the land grid.
when connected to the generator supply (ONAN 7,5kW) the standard mode is not recognizing the limit and goes much above (up to 1,4kW) causing the charge disconnection. only way is to apply to the generator other high loads and then the AC180 is charged in a range between 600W and 900W
but when there are no other high loads on the genset, I am still forced to use the silent mode @ 300W

@NanShan There is a new firmware that adjusts the charging power of the standard mode to 500W. Would you like to try it?

thanks for the proposal, but 500W is too low for my needs, in that case I will use the silent mode at 300W.
I have no issue with charge via genset until 800/900W. it’s only above 1kW that the charge is knocked down (only via genset, when charging via land grid everythng is working perfectly)
The point is that in any case the actual limit that I have (600W) is completely ignored while charging the AC180 through the genset.
so, my optimal situation would be a limit at 800W, BUT that is functioning not only via land grid but ALSO via genset… seems not possible for your developer to have recognized the power limit setpoiint from the genset charge.

@Bright Hello, thanks for the reply. I’m not sure I explained it well enough so I’m going to retry.

I go into the app and select turbo mode for charging. The unit stays at a consistent 300 watts for maybe 5 minutes, shoots up to 1000+ for maybe 5 seconds, then goes back down to 300. This happened via my generator, and is now doing the same thing at my friend’s house plugged directly into a wall socket. How do I make it so it stays charging at 1000+?

Well now it’s staying at 800w input for a bit now

@NanShan @Mase There is a new firmware here that broadens the AC input voltage range. It may be able to maintain a charge of 1000W in standard mode (with ‘Grid self-adaption’ turned on). Would you like to try it?

@Bright
yes, I would like to try, thanks
