@NanShan Pushed. Please upgrade and test. Thank you.
@Bright thanks, I will be traveling far from the AC180 for a couple of weeks, I will update you as soon as testing
Hey everyone! I’m having a similar problem with my AC180 charging off a 1000W inverter connected to my overland rig. I can only charge in “silent mode” because in standard mode the wattage goes up to 1 KW then cuts off. Can I get a firmware update limiting the charge rate to 800 or 900 watts in standard mode? @BLUETTI_CARE
@ben.white318 The firmware only amplifies the input voltage range and does not limit the input power. If your inverter only has an output of 1000W, it may not be able to charge if it is reduced to 800-900 watts. It is expected that it will need to be reduced to 500W. But you can try it first, please provide your SN and firmware version so that I can push the firmware for you.
I have a BEpower 3600E generator and hooked up to my travel trailer and plug my acl80 to a outside outlet and have no problem could it be a inverter problem house grid works great as well.
@ben.white318 Thanks for your information.
Before you upgrade the firmware, please turn on the self-adaptive mode on the APP Advanced setting page to test. If not, please update the DSP firmware to 2077.06.
My suggestion on all units is to enable charging rates to be adjusted in increments of 100 watts up to the maximum. This way, the end user can control their units to each specific circumstance rather that changing firmware to work for one user and ending up affecting several other users in an unanticipated way.
@ben.white318 Please make sure you have open self-adaptive mode. And we have pushed another firmware 2077.07 for you to test, please check again.
@BLUETTI_CARE So I was able to do some testing and I’m still not getting the desired results. I did a test drive with the new firmware and now it doesn’t cut off, but will still not charge above 300 watts or so no matter what. I have a screen recording of its behavior linked in this YouTube video: https://youtu.be/CTUICG4uctw. Also, now turbo mode also behaves the same way and will not go over 1KW even when connected to the wall sockets in my home. All I’m looking for is being able to charge at around 700-800 watts off the AC input while driving (no matter the solar input) and get turbo mode to go back to normal.
Thanks!
Hello, i curently have a ac180 and i have connected a 1500w inverter to my car. But if i charge in standard mode it pulls 1100Watts. De battery can charge, but it takes a lot from te car system. Can i also recieve and updat so my standard mode charges 800watts? Or is it possible i can adjust the input myself?
