Just wondering if anyone is running a small chest freezer on their EB3a ? My old freezer keeps overloading so am considering buying a new one that is energy saving and would run on the EB3a.

@PEIfiddler , It depends on the running power and starting power of your small refrigerator.

I just bought a Dometic CFX3 45 chest freezer and it runs beautifully on the EB3A. Using the 12V DC connection. Power consumption is about 40-50 Watts when the compressor is working. From the looks of it it would run the fridge for about 10-12 hours on a single charge. With a 100 Watt solar panel it should run indefinitely during summer.
