I do not have a smart vehicle. Or hybrid. I do not have the arm update. Where or how can i either send this item back for a refund or even pay me the cost to have a hill switch installed by a reputable shop. This thing killed my car battery when i was home for 2 days this past weekend. I need the update or something else. This thing is not shutting down and its wild af.
Hi @Jleep2017, regarding this issue, we have pushed the new firmware to all users in batches.
Could you please confirm again that you have correctly registered and bound Charger 1 to your Bluetti app?
Please ensure you’re connected via Bluetooth, then update to the latest ARM version—this should resolve the problem.

Hi @Rafael1, After checking our records, we can confirm that we have already responded to your email.
Please rest assured that we will continue to follow up on this matter closely.
Would it be possible to use a VSR or LVD to solve this problem of the Charger 1 not switching off when the car is turned off?
I bought the Charger 1 March 2025. No issues with battery drainage, though I turn it off at the breaker when not in use; the app has a message: To maintain the car’s starter battery in good condition, turn off the circuit breaker when not in use for an extended period of time." I’ve taken a conservative approach as to what constitutes an “extended period”.
The manual says to not turn the unit on until after the vehicle is running, so right or wrong, Bluetti considers the breaker to be a switch.
The discussion made me curious, though, so I fired everything up this morning. After turning off the engine, the app showed charging to the power station stopped after a few minutes. According to the app, voltage from the Charger 1 to the power station slowly dropped from 12 to 0.3 over the space of a half hour. The green light on the Charger 1 continued blinking. I have to conclude that my unit, at least, works as intended, though there is some parasitic draw. I carry a jump box in case I forget for “an extended period”.
