Bluetti Eb3a Firmware

Hi @Haborgx, We are very concerned about the issue you’re encountering. We have created the new firmware to address the random shutdown of AC output on the EB3A, as well as to improve the AC charging performance.

We have requested to push the new DSP firmware for you. Please upgrade and test again.
Please do not load any device when upgrading it.
Please let us know if it works.

Hi, is good to have news from you, but yesterday I tried to do the update nevertheless nothing/none update was available from the APP, (i guess i can make the update using the “offline Mode” or is neceesary to use the “login/register” way?)

Hi @Haborgx, I’m afraid that you might be directly connecting to the EB3A via Bluetooth without logging into your Bluetti account and binding this EB3A to it.
If this is the case, you won’t be able to complete the firmware upgrade. A direct Bluetooth connection only allows limited operational access and does not include firmware upgrades.
Please register and log in to your Bluetti account, then bind your EB3A. Next, click on ‘Settings,’ then ‘Firmware Upgrade,’ and click on the blue ARM and DSP icon to obtain the latest firmware. Proceed with the upgrade afterward.
Please do not load any device when upgrading it.
I hope it does help.

Hi, yeah my bad. once I create an account and registered the eb3a the upgrades were available to apply, in my case both the ARM and DSP. LAst nigth I did the upgrade and today Ill repeat the discharge process to tune up the logic.

note
my eb3a was charged until 100% but after the upgrades the value drop til 30%, i use it till 1% and put to recharge. Now againg is 100% and ill to discharge again till turn off and recharge, after that Im going to put under test and hope do not repeat the comented issue. Thanks in advance for the support. If everything works ok ill report it

Hi, once I did a full discharge AND recharge the eb3A after the software upgrades ,left conected a devices with Start with (55w) AND later drops to (11W) because Is autopower of , the eb3A appears this morning ok with the AC output on AND besides i notice sonething it seems ok, now the batery Is 100% ,the load Is 11w AND the grid Is 11w. And un drop to 99% the grid power Is variable not ar full watts and the fan now works on AND off when Is necesary Nice .
Before the batery Start at 100% then drops to 99%, the load Is 11w AND the grid was the full set value of charge 100 (Silence) , 200@300w ( standard ) ,wich means that now Is More efficient in power managment ,looks like the load AND the grid were bypassed . I hope now my eb3A works as Is suposed to work.

Hi @Haborgx, Thank you for the update; we are pleased to hear that the issue has finally been resolved.
We will also share this good news with our engineers.

By the way, please note that if you need my assistance, please @BLUETTI_CARE, otherwise, I might not see your message and be able to help you promptly.

Hi @BLUETTI_CARE ,
I believe there should be an update available for my EB3A, but nothing is available in my app.
EB3A2438000367104
IOT v9046.01
ARM v2118.09
DSP v2117.08
Please could this update be sent to me?
Thank you

Hi @Tezzabee, Is your EB3A experiencing the same issue as Haborgx’s?
Yes, the new firmware has not been rolled out en masse, it is only being pushed individually to customers who contact us with a need for it.
Once confirm, we will push the new firmware to your EB3A.

Hi @BLUETTI_CARE ,
This EB3A is a replacement (it is a refurbished one). Initially it had a lot of issues with sockets not working, erratic button behaviour, no 12v, no AC output or charging. I managed to drain it to 0 via usb/c and get it to recharge. I recalibrated it 3x at the weekend. It seems a lot better now. Would being out of calibration cause all those issues?
I am currently testing ‘normal’ use which has been good so far. I asked about the update because my previous (returned) EB3A did have an update (unrequested, just appeared in the app) about a year ago and it seems that this new one has older firmware.
Thank you

Hi @Tezzabee, Thank you for your detailed explanation. When the SOC is inaccurate, the actual battery level does not match the displayed level.
It’s possible that the EB3A is already out of power but still shows as having a charge, which would prevent it from outputting. Conversely, when it’s actually fully charged but shows as empty, it won’t be able to charge.
Recalibrating can be a bit of a hassle, but it can solve many issues. Regular calibration is also very beneficial for maintaining the battery.

If the EB3A is working normally, there’s no need for a separate firmware upgrade. If your EB3A hasn’t prompted for an upgrade, it means it’s already on the latest version from the bulk firmware push.
We also have some firmware versions that have not been pushed in bulk. These are usually fixed versions for specific issues and are only sent to customers facing those particular problems.

The firmware numbers for different batches may vary, and they cannot be upgraded to each other.

Hi @BLUETTI_CARE ,
Thank you very much for the information.

Hi @BLUETTI_CARE , i confirm after 3 Days in a Row my eb3A using a DC AND AC output my power station Is working as always had to work.
1 the batery level now not drops every Time to 99% AND start charging, taking 100w of Energy from grid just for 1% .Now it seems the power managment Is tuned up working excelent it seems that the eb3A takes the amount of energy the the AC output needs.

2 now the fan Is noticed that’s Is working Time to Time.
Thanks in Advance now I’m happy with my eb3á working as an UPS for my NAS and many of my networks devices.

Note
My issues we’re
1 the AC power out auto off sudendly from a Day to the next day ( my NAS left powered off unreacheble).

2 then bypass to use the DC outputs AND for some Days was fine but one day the eb3á appears depleted to 0% the batery AND off AND not charged from the ac in.
( I had to recharge using the DC input Port with a power supply 20V 120w) AND black to life.

Now after the updates of ARM AND DSP , WORKS LIKE A CHARM

Hi @BLUETTI_CARE ,
I thought I’d sorted the EB3A out by recalibrating. I did it several times but when I tried to use it normally I noticed it still seemed to discharge faster than it should by ‘jumping down’ to 0 near the end . It also now refuses to charge at over about 154w speed. Changing the charge speed settings in the app makes no difference. I recalibrated it twice more and watched on the app to make sure it counted down from 100 to 0 without jumping. It still only recharged at 154w. The first time I used it after this it was ok until it suddenly jumped from 36% to 0, even though it has been recalibrated at least 6 times now.
This EB3A is actually a replacement for one that had similar issues. I did agree to accept a refurbished one as long as it was fully working, but so far this is not the case. I am a bit disappointed and frustrated that I can’t get it to function normally.
Is there an update that could help with this, or do you have any further advice please?
Thank you

Hi @Tezzabee, It seems that recalibration has not resolved the issue. Therefore, we recommend that you contact customer service for warranty support.
Since you have already contacted the customer service team, could you provide us with your service ticket number?
Alternatively, please message us with your order information so that we can arrange further service for you.

Hi , i want to inform that i noticed that after the upgrades of my eb3A the led ligth control from the app stop working but I prefer or tolerate that ítem fails instead the UPS mode. But a few day algo the app update and now it works again. So now I’m More satisfied With my eb3A keep works as my router/ NAS UPS. Keep doing a good hardware and software

@BLUETTI_CARE hi ,i forget to request if you can add the info on the app when the eb3A or any other power station can shows the remaining Time when AND a blackout or a intentional discharge occurs , that avoid everybody to be Bear the power station AND see how many Time left This feature Is necesary thks

Hi @Haborgx, Thank you for the update. We are glad to hear that it is now back to working.
We just released the latest version of the app yesterday. The iOS version is 2.3.16, and the Android version is 2.3.151.
We have added a low-battery reminder feature in the new version. It is enabled by default and will alert once at 5%, 10%, or 20% battery levels. We hope you will like it
However, since the EB3A does not support Wi-Fi connectivity, it cannot receive remote notifications. We recommend upgrading to a model that supports Wi-Fi, such as the AC200L or Elite 200 V2, so you can receive notifications at any time.
