AC200P LCD issue

i received a response from bluetti support. They asked that i send a video of trying to charge the ac200p via car port and solar. I uploaded it online and sent it to them through email. i hope they have a fix for me to trouble shoot or a solution in general. fingers crossed

I have the exact same issue. It is super frustrating because we need to travel in a day and it is the power for our camper. Bluetti asked me for a video as well. Really hoping they can figure this out NOW.

Is there any way of changing the color on the display? The blue is too close to the white color to be able to see it clearly unless you are right in front of it.

Yeah, the readability leaves something to be desired. It needs more contrast.

Most horid awful display outside. Those are mild words

It would be easy enough to make a sun visor for the screen. It is not meant to be in direct sunlight.

What was the outcome of this please as the thread just stopped…

There is no real outcome. LCD displays are difficult to read out in the sunlight. The easiest thing to do is to keep the AC200 in the shade or shade the top of the screen with the hand while reading. Almost all displays are difficult to read in sunlight.

Scott, it’s not the LCD ( I know it’s difficult to read out in the sunlight) I want to know about / update. He had a problem with the screen NOT working. That’s what I asked for - an update on how he fixed it.

I’m curious too, as I’ve only heard of the screen failing due to overexposure to sunlight, and that was the LCD. Maybe a wire got jolted loose. Would be nice to get an update on resolution.

Same issue here…
Ours was charged to 15% and then randomly dropped to zero, beeped 4 times, and shut off. No charge from solar, car, or AC. Green light comes on, the fan starts up for about 1 second, and the screen lights up for about 1 second. And then nothing.
I’ve emailed Bluetti. Sent them a video. Waiting for their response now.

Does not sound good…let us know what Bluetti responds back with and if they have any suggestions before you have to ship back.

@mrldennis and make sure you’re emailing service@bluettipower.com and not the old email domain address… let us know your findings!

I sent the ac200p back to Bluetti. They promptly sent out a new unit, which should arrive this weekend. Seems like there is no way for the user to resolve this issue.

Were you asked to return the non functioning unit for repair?

They didn’t mention anything about repair. They emailed me an RMA to return the broken ac200p. Once they confirmed the unit was shipped back to them, they sent the new ac200p, which should arrive this Saturday. Super quick response and transaction from Bluetti! It’s good to know they’ll take care of any problems with their products.

Great news! Glad they got ya taken care of

Thanks for the reply. I just wanted to know how the system works in the event another person has a question. Did you have the original packaging and if so or not…how did the pick up occur and what freight carrier was used? Basically, what did you have to do on your end to ship the unit out?
