All this was done when problem first appeared.
problem evolved to not powering up correctly.
Screen flashes on and off quickly with relays clicking.
Ticket created…
Just for perspective.
I submitted a ticket on Sunday.
First response was Tuesday AM
Back and forth a bit (same questions as above)
RMA Friday - I shipped unit back for “repair”
I can keep you updated on how long that may take.
It seem that the tech support is over seas and I get responses like 2AMor 3AM PST.
Hi @StingerZ16, thank you for letting us know the updated information.
Yes, since it is about hardware issue, to repair it is the best choice.
Please feel free to contact us if you need more help.
Hello, all. My AC300 just failed with the same error. Got two units so as to operate a 230 volt water well pump. These are March 2023 units. Waiting further instructions from Bluetti. Phone troubleshooting failed to correct problem. I am now concerned about the second unit as it may develop the issue.
I just saved a unit with this very issue, I had to replace a small 1000uf 25 volt capacitor near the SPs connectors on the main board behind the outlets. Removing the main board is too much of a pain in the ass so rip the capacitor out from the top and add some solder to the remaining nibs to install your new capacitor without removing the board.
One of my AC300’s started giving me the “006 SPS voltage low” error. I’ve followed every suggestion and step mentioned here. The error starts as soon as I turn on A/C output or D/C output. Like others here, the faults began with an A/C output interruption sporadically causing all my devices/load to shutdown. Then the faults came more often until finally the fault appeared every other second with relays clilcking and screen flashing.
If I turn off A/C and D/C output, the faults stop. Not much use this way, eh? I was just about to buy a couple more B300 batteries, but…not so sure now.
I, too, have a second AC300 I bought at the same time; now, I’m worried it will start having problems soon.
Bluetti Admin, unless you have a solution I can try, I’m afraid I will have to RMA the head unit to you for repair/replacement. Please tell me what I have to do to get this done. I believe I’m still under warranty.
Of course, I JUST threw out the boxes last month…sigh
Same thing here. AC shutting off randomly, then more frequently (a few times per hour), then error 006 which eventually clears, but attempts to enable AC just loops with relay clunking every 20 seconds or so and error alarm beeping.
Happened to BOTH my AC300s about the same time. All firmware/BMS up-to-date.
Doesn’t matter which B300 is connected to the AC300, so am guessing it’s an issue with the head unit. Sigh… this will be the 3rd time sending back. At least it’s not the screen dying again.
Hi @Hmmm, Yesterday, we upgraded our email system, which took about eight hours to complete. During this time, customers were unable to send emails successfully. However, the issue has now been resolved. Please try sending your emails again, and if you encounter any problems, feel free to reach out to us.
So is there a fix for the 006 code issue? I just started getting it recently. Unit reboots at least once or twice per day. I got mine used and highly doubt it’s under warranty. I live on Hawaii and would be too costly to ship off for service. A diy solution would be much better. I saw something about a bad capacitor on the motherboard in the head unit. Has anyone tried replacing? Works?? Any help would be much appreciated. Aloha
I am having the same issue. Support is critical and Bluetti seems to be very slow to respond. Being without our AC300 is an issue for us. Maybe it’s time to invest in a different product. I hate to think of that as we already have a significant investment in Bluetti. Ugh!
I believe I have fixed my unit throwing 006 error. It started occasionally then more often as time went on. As previously mentioned it’s a bad capacitor on the M2 board inside the front panel - 25v 1000uF. I swapped it out and unit seems to be working fine now. Capacitor was definitely bulged but luckily i didn’t notice any sign of leakage. Hope this helps someone as Bluetti customer service refuses to acknowledge the problem exists with these units even though there are plenty reports of same issue.
I found the capacitor and it was bulged. I replaced it with a 35 volt 1000uf cap instead of the original 25 volt, hoping it will last longer.
The 35 volt cap is larger, but that wasn’t a problem since I had to solder the new cap onto the broken legs of the old cap. So the new cap is “floating” above the circuit board.
It fired up without throwing any codes.
Hi Dave. @dnknecht I decided to install 35v (because it will be more longer to die) but it’s my theory. Now I have your proof. Thanks for your comment!
Regarding soldering: So you didn’t removed old one cap’s legs and just cut the legs so in such case I don’t need to dissasemble all 100500 wiring harness and electronic board itself. Do I need to make the new cap legs shorter? Or cap legs length is not a case? I’m a newbie in such things like capacitors
Dear community, my SOC is dropping zero for a couple of minutes (see the screenshot). But grid is stable and connected! I teared down my AC300 and capacitor was bad (same as on the picture in previous post)
The interesting thing- I have another AC300 new (capacitor is good!) but problem the same!!! What a h…! Batteries are good
FW is not a case (2 AC300 has different fw) @BLUETTI_CARE hope you have some idea
