Hello Community. I will continue this thread as I have same problem!
My AC300 is powering lights and ALL OF THEM are flickering! It’s not matter AC300 loaded or not - it’s flickering! Cheap LED, very expensive LED, Wolfram OLD Bulbs also flickering. After some deep dives there is some FW that can help, @BLUETTI_CARE is it true that some firmware can help? =)
Just to clarify - voltage 230 50 Hz (EU) from grid or without GRID but from Batteries and AC300 - same pure 230v 50Hz - but flickering. It’s annoying!!! Please, rise up this problem.
FW - IoT 9014.10
ARM 4037.05
DSP 4036.02
Good idea, but it didn’t help.
NO LOAD (just light) - flickering
LOAD (variable) 20 - 50% - flickering
LOAD (constant) 30% - flickering
LOAD (constant) 80% - flickering
True RMS Multimeter was connected in always ON mode and monitoring - pure 230v (229-230) and 50Hz
Hi @Arvian, In regard to this issue, we would like to confirm which output port of the AC300 you are using to power these lights and the projector. Would enabling Grid Self-adaption help resolve the problem?
We noticed that neither your ARM nor DSP version is up to date. We have rolled out the latest versions in batches—please upgrade first before conducting further tests.
As you can see from my screenshot - this updates/versions are not containing any serious changes so I don’t see the reason to update.
Regarding “Grid Self-adoption” I don’t see such option in my AC300 menu
Hi @Arvian, judging from the screenshots you provided, you are using the Bluetooth offline mode or a Wi-Fi connection. Firmware updates are not available in either of these modes. Please bind your AC300 device first, then select the Bluetooth connection mode. Next, locate the blue update button and tap it to start the update.
Once the firmware update is successfully completed, you will be able to find the Grid Self-adoption option.
As you can see there is the same FW updates that I sent earlier (and yes, AC300 connecter to the server - binded, and I’m using bluetooth) and this FW doesn’t contain Grid power option (as I found from internet because Bluetti don’t show the list of what/where/how was changed for a new FW.
Hi @Arvian, I believe this is due to the difference between Bluetooth offline mode and an active Bluetooth connection. These two states can indeed be hard to distinguish.
Please follow the screenshots provided to bind your AC300 first, then establish a Bluetooth connection. Only then will you be able to locate the update button to proceed with the firmware update.
Hi, thanks for your manual, @BLUETTI_CARE
I will add my screenshots as a proof that we are on the same page ;)
As I mentioned earlier - this update will not help and its NOT the latest update I believe (see the last screenshot with a minor updates and I found in reddit about “service notes” - grid self adoption is not among “new features”.
Again - I’m updating my AC300 in the same way as you showed in visuals. New FW is not the latest (I saw it 2 years ago “plus/minus”).
I’m afraid to update my inverter to some minor updates just to prove that I will be right and it will not bring the new feature like “grid self adoption” because this inverter - ALL WHAT I HAVE to power up my house and if firmware upgrade will make the “brick”… will be bad (cold winter+fckn war in my country - all cities with no grid as a result
Hi @Arvian, Thanks for the update. I’ve checked with our app team regarding this matter.
They advised that with the latest app version, you should select the fourth option labeled “Upgrade” to perform the firmware update. Could you please run another test? We believe a firmware upgrade will help resolve the issue.
Hello. Thank you for the update. Same results with the update version. As you can see from the screenshot- 9014.10 will be updated on 9014.12 and so on. Again, this updates are RISKY and useless at all. See the screenshots from the Forum please
Hello
Is there any thoughts about the FW update bug?
As you can see on screenshots the latest firmware for AC300 is:
IoT 9041.10
DSP 4053.03
But my two inverters (different inverters: one I bought in EU, another in Ukraine after 9 months) have the same picture: they can be updated only on
IoT 9014.12 (instead of 9041.10)
DSP 4036.30 (instead of 4053.03)
P.S. I need the feature “Grid Power Self Adaptation Mode” but it’s only available in latest firmware
I have 21% of my batteries and this message I can type ONLY because my Bluetti is still alive!
I am in a military zone. Electricity is a very rare (1
-3 hours per 48 hours) and voltage is near 180. But my AC300 is dropping charging when voltage below 205 volts. What if “grid Power Adaptation…” will bring me the Light?!
Dear @BLUETTI and @BLUETTI_CARE and all Community, you are doing amazing work! Bless you! Thanks so much and please help me
Hi @Arvian, please don’t worry, this is just a misunderstanding.
Our firmware versions display differently due to different production batches. When upgrading the firmware, only the numbers after the decimal point are involved, and the preceding part remains unchanged.
For example, DSP 4036 is equivalent to DSP A, and devices in the DSP A batch can be upgraded from A1 to DSP A30.
DSP 4053 is equivalent to DSP B, and devices in the DSP B batch can be upgraded from B1 to DSP B30. The two versions are not interchangeable, but both have the latest firmware available.
Please provide us with the respective serial numbers (SN) of your two AC300 units and the corresponding firmware version, and we will push the latest firmware for the B version to you accordingly.
Hi @Arvian, since you have two AC300 units, we are still unsure of the current firmware version corresponding to each one. Could you please list the SN codes of the two AC300s separately and provide the firmware interface screenshots for each? This will allow us to push the new firmware to each unit in a targeted manner.
Hi @Arvian, thank you for your confirmation.
I have applied to upgrade your system to our IT department. If the new firmware is available, they will complete the push within 24 hours.
Please upgrade the firmware tomorrow. Please do not load any device when upgrading it.
Please let us know if it works.
Dear @BLUETTI_CARE
Thanks you so much for the FW! It works!!! Now I can activate Grid self adoption function. It’s a Win-Win situation for me as my grid is like a sh…
Thank You!!!
