Great news, hopefully the new APP forum will look less dated :grinning:

Does this mean it’s going to in the APP on the phone we use to monitor the units? Or is this a new APP?

To be honest, I prefer reading/writing forums on my desktop. It gives me a better overview and makes it easier to write (real keyboard ;-) ).
I only read or write on my phone/tablet when I need to do something quickly or when I’m on the go.
If I want to describe a technical problem in detail and attach photos, I only use my desktop.

Per SigiKa above, I find the change pretty annoying. I don’t want to have to use an app to access or post to a forum. Please just stay with a web forum, or at least have web access available right away.

Will all content of this “web” forum be ported to the new forum?

I’m not using apps to visit forums. I need a real display and keyboard for that. But I will use the new forum from my PC once the merge is done.

No apps for me, I’ll wait for the web version.

Great news,it makes sense merging both platforms together and having one point of reference. Going to make things a lot easier.

Okay sounds interesting, I have used the App a bit, but prefer to use Home assistant to control the power stations due to the clutter in the App. It might be better if Bluetti had two apps one for controlling the power stations with no clutter and another for the Shop, forums, social media and support.

Would be nice if the App and website accounts were linked because I they are still split for me which means my Bluetti points and orders are split between the App and Website even though they are using the same email account. I heard that was being unified, but it is taking a long time.

I’m looking forward to the improvements. I hope that the new web version will be a bit more user friendly. I find posting in the app easier for formatting and uploading photos, but searching for info about an issue is much easier on the web forum. I hope the new versions will have the best of both.

I also prefer a web version of the forum for all the reasons mentioned.

That’s great news and looking forward to the web based site!

I agree 100%. I prefer desktop use. If it is not broken, why change. :scream:

Having two different forums was a bad idea to begin with. Most app users probably don’t even know that there is a separate forum on the website and most website users will probably never use the app forum. These should have been two interfaces to the same forum. And as far as I understand this will be made so. I just hope that all content from here will be properly transferred over to the new unified app/web forum and not being thrown away. Because there is a treasure of information in existing posts here.

@BLUETTI Can you give some information on this? Will all existing content from here as well as the user accounts be ported over to the app forum?

Oh yikes, yes, I had no idea that there was a separate app forum. What a silly idea, having two separate forums. But if you want to have just one, either combine them or get rid of the app forum. App users can reach the web forum with their phone browsers.

I’ve just recently joined, I guess I don’t need to worry too much about being used the the Bluetti forum. Bring on the new APP forum.

@BLUETTI Maybe you missed this, but I would like to know if the content of this forum, so the message and discussion history will be transferred to the new unified forum or not.

Could you please give some clarity of your plans on this?

would be a good thing since its a great knowledge base

Please notify us when the web version is available. I have no interest in using an app to access a forum.
