How to connect EP2000 to a single-phase grid input

Hi, community,

Is there any guidance on connecting an EP2000 unit to a single-phase grid input? All the available tutorials either say nothing or demonstrate a 3-phase grid setup

Thanks

Hi @bluetti_shadowgundevelopergmailcom ,
I don’t have an EP2000, but an EP600. I think they work the same way, and with the EP600 it’s simply not possible to operate it in single-phase mode! The EP760 would be a better choice for a single-phase grid (in Europe).
.
Look at at tech specs,
EP760: L / N / PE
EP600: 3L / N / PE
EP2000: 3L / N / PE
.
And no, it is not possible to loop one phase to all three AC inputs, as this will result in a phase sequence error and the EP2000 will not start.

Hi, @SigiKa,

Thanks for the answers, seems to be the case. Well, the problem there is that I already own an EP760 and I bought ep2000 thinking that I can simply replace it and get broader appliance support given 20 KW potential output…

Looking through the docs, it seems that the way to make it charge from a single-phase grid input is to make an AC to PV converte which will charge the station

Thanks for any further advice!
