Cloud logging suddenly stopped, but live parameters still display OK

hi,
about 3 days ago all 3 curves stopped to logging any value to the cloud … which results in the bluetti app no longer showing me Daily power profile / Energy Statistics / SOC trend. All 3 curves show flat zero value since then.

However the real time dashboard of PV/gric/AC/DC still displays live data, which look consistent, and also the device status shows normal connection to the network.

Question : Has any one got any idea what the root cause could be…?
And also an idea how to fix that remotely…?

Note : I’m currently on vacation = away from home with no way / no one to reset my AC300. So “try to power cycle your unit” is not a practical solution for me just now ;)

Thanks for any help.

Hey @LLaurent

Have a look here

greetings
Erik

Hi, it happened to my AC200L as well last week. I had to turn off and on the AC200L’s wifi through the on-screen menu, and then turn the AC200L off and on again. Logging resumed after that. Mine had stopped for about 3 days, eventhough live parameters through cloud still worked fine through the app.

Thanks @aaron33 , @Selfmadestrom for your inputs!

Well … @BLUETTI_CARE , my AC300 s/n is AC3002309000181363, with versions below

→ If you have a way to check why data logging stopped dead for my unit on 2024/08/01 between 6:30 and 7:00 I’d greatly appreciate…

If it’s a bug in your system, could you try to fix it?

In any case, anything you could do to enable me restoring cloud logging from now, remotely?

As I explained I’m currently miles away from home, for another couple of weeks so power cycling it is NOT an option for me
Thanks in advance for your help

Hi @LLaurent , We want to fix this problem by upgrading the firmware.
Now I have applied to upgrade your system to our IT department. They will push the latest version of IOT to your machine in 24 hours.
Please upgrade the firmware tomorrow. Please do not load any device when upgrading it.
Thank you for @Selfmadestrom 's kind help.

Hello @BLUETTI_CARE
I just returned from vacation and saw your message.
I’m in front of the machine, trying to upgrade, but I don’t get it how the new application works now with regards to upgrading the FW…
I am connecting via Bluetooth, of course, then I go to the information/version page. It tells me there is new firmware as you can see below, but then there is no button or anything obvious so I can actually trigger a firmware upgrade.(touching the blue cloud with arrow in it does not do anything).
Can you explain How this is supposed to work?

I finally found a way to upgrade !

The app suddenly told me my session has expired (why…?) + I had to log in again

After reconnection my AC300 looks offline (why…?) and after some fumbling around I went clicking on the 3 blue dots button…

…which got me to this menu …

… and there I clicked this upgrade button, which finally got me to the same “New Version Available” page as before, but this time with clickable Upgrade buttons !

so with this I could upgrade my firmware!

But @BLUETTI_CARE : this has been really painful … quite a struggle & non-obvious to reach out to the “really functional” upgrade menu…
By the way, why my session expired (does expire from time to time … not the first time it happens to me!) is incomprensible … why can’t the session keep active at all times ?

But now I hyave NEW PROBLEM : after session reconnection, my AC300 show offline although network and WiFi parameters were unchanged / are still OK

Still … I did click on Reset WiFi, and it shows that network + server status = connected,

but then, after clicking OK, it still keeps in the same “Offline” situation.
I really do not understand…

So now the situation is :

  • I could upgrade the FW (although non obviously…)
  • But my AC300 now looks offline although wifi and network connection display OK
  • and so I still cannot (I can no longer) access to the power/consumption/SoC status curves, which was my initial problem the FW upgrade was supposed to resolve :frowning:
  • I tried signing-out / signing back in → same situation.

@BLUETTI_CARE can you please help more ?

Hi @LLaurent

if you dont already do it, please upgrade the firmware, by connecting your unit by Bluetooth in the Bluetti App.

I had this strange behavior once myself. even after reconnect to the same wifi, still offline.

Please try the following, atleast it worked for me:

1.) Open a Wifi Hotspot/or change you wifi name temporary
2.) Go back in the Bluetti App and connect your unit to the “new wifi”
3.) Check if the status is online
4.) Change the Wifi Name as it was befoure/turn off you Hotspot
5.) Connect the Unit to the “old” Wifi and check if the problem persists.

greetings
Erik

Well … eventually the connection got restored without me doing anything special.
And data logging recommenced as well since around 9:30 this morning, that’s the time when I performed the FW upgrade.
Good then … but so strange !

Hi @LLaurent, Thank you for @Selfmadestrom’s kind help, I am glad to hear that the problem is resolved.

Hello @BLUETTI_CARE. I have the same issue with statistics on AC200PL. My device SN is AC200PL2413000052255. Can you help me with this? Thanks.

Hi @gloksey, we would like to help you, can you tell us the current IOT version of your AC200PL?
Then we will push the new firmware soon.

IOT version is 9041,06 as I understand.

Hi @gloksey, Yes, it is the correct IOT version.
Our technical department will push the latest version of firmware to your machine in 24 hours.
Please upgrade the firmware tomorrow. Please do not load any device when upgrading it.
Please let us know if it does help.

Hi @BLUETTI_CARE. I’ve installed the update and now it works. Thank you for your assistance.

Hi @gloksey, thank you for letting us know! I am glad to hear that, I will share this good news with our engineer.

AC200L with currently latest FW and BMS versions also acted the same.
Before restart of device, WiFi was connected, live data through cloud connection was available, but logging of data has stopped. WiFi connection is stable and strong, but in rear cases it is manually restarted with no impact on data logging stopping.

Any ideas?

I have this reporting issue on two ac200l units. Both have the same software and firmwares
AC200L2419002535306
