Bluetti Smart Home Plattform: Its coming!

Hey guys!

today i wanna share some exiting news about the upcoming Smart Home Plattform from Bluetti.

The original thread for asking you guys about HomeAssistant now pass the 40 answers alone in this forum. First off all, thanks for your valuable input on this!

In the background i really put a lot of time in this topic and finally we will actually see a result of it!

Bluetti will launch its own Smart Home Plattform for Wifi enabled devices. At first, it will support Amazon Alexa and Google Home over a cloud connected and also HomeAssistant over a local Wifi connection. I dont have much details on the function set yet.

For now the integration for the following devices is already finish and is in closed testing:

  • Fridge Power
  • EP6K
  • EP13K
  • EP2000

They also work activly on the following devices:

  • Elite 100 V2
  • Elite 200 V2
  • Apex 300
  • Elite 30 V2

So we have covered the latest and greatest units for sure! The older units will still be discussed, which of them actually get a official update. But im sure the majority of wifi enabled units will get this update too.

I get a bit of more information by the end of this month. If you have any questions, feel free to let me know and in try to answer them for you all!

greetings
Erik

Here is the Q&A from the R&D Department, that i asl them. Hope that will clear up a few things:

Good news guys, they release a first version of the plugin on their github:

GitHub - bluetti-official/bluetti-home-assistant: BLUETTI Integration for Home Assistant

Its really limited and cloud only at the moment.

Also get feedback from all the questions i asked!

Feel free to provide Feedback under this comment to the questions.

1. Q: Is the current integration with third-party platforms (Google Home / Alexa / Home Assistant) done via cloud API bridge or local network communication (MQTT or WebSocket)?

A: Currently, it’s done through the cloud.

2. Q: If it’s cloud-based, is there a plan to support local integration in the future (e.g., LAN direct connection, MQTT broker)?

A: Yes, there are plans to support local integration via Bluetooth or local network.

3. Q: Will you provide API or MQTT documentation (developer access / SDK)?

A: We already have this available and it will be released on the BLUETTI developer platform, which will launch in November 2025.

4. Q: Do you support third-party developers for secondary development (e.g., Home Assistant custom integration)?

A: Yes, we support this. Our source code is available on GitHub for anyone to access (currently, cloud-to-cloud integration is available, and local integration is still in development).

5. Q: Do you plan to establish a developer portal or testing channel?

A: The BLUETTI developer platform will serve as our developer portal, launching in November 2025. We will share the portal link after launch.

We also have our official community on GitHub, where you can leave comments and provide feedback.

6. Q: Do you plan to allow older Wi-Fi-enabled devices to support this platform through a firmware update?

A: Technically, it’s possible. Could you specify which old models you are referring to? We can pass your request on to the product manager for further consideration.

Q: Are there any devices that don’t support Wi-Fi but can be adapted via a gateway or module?

A: Bluetooth integration with Home Assistant is possible, and this feature is still in development.

8. Q: What main functions does the current smart platform support? (e.g., reading status, controlling switches, mode switching, etc.)

A:

Check SOC (State of Charge)

Check device status (home storage)

Check remaining runtime settings

AC/DC switch (for portable storage only)

Work mode settings

ECO mode (for portable storage only)

Disaster warning switch

System shutdown

9. Q: Are the features equivalent to those in the BLUETTI app, or are there limitations?

A: The BLUETTI app has more and more comprehensive features. If you need additional features to be reflected in the smart platform, feel free to share your feedback with us.

10. Q: Can it be expanded to energy management (e.g., power regulation, load control)?

A: Power control can be done via the app, but voice assistants have difficulty understanding the semantic interactions involved in power regulation.

11. Q: Are there any extra account binding or subscription fees required?

A: Currently, there are no additional fees.

12. Q: Is there a release timeline (e.g., official version, Beta plan, regional rollout plan)?

A: Some models and features are already live:

The fridge power station, EP6K, EP13K, and EP2000 are already available.

The upcoming models include Elite100/200/AP300, but the specific prioritization of models depends on evaluations from the frontend business side.

Hi Erik,
you list EP2000, why isn’t the EP600 or EP500 on this list? Are they so different to EP2000?

greetings

It seems to have been out of closed testing for a week or so. You can download it below. I already added it to Home Assistant and it doesn’t work with the Apex300 yet but support is coming. I guess it would work for the supported units already.

Doesn’t EP6k mean EP600? It’s confusing because k typically means thousand, but there is no EP6000 or EP13000 that I can see, but there is a EP600 and EP1300.

The units already supported are all are probably quite similar, and Apex300 and the Elite series also seem very similar so hopefully support for them will all drop at once. Hopefully then they will do the AC500 and AC300. :crossed_fingers:

EP6K is indeed something different from EP600. Its look more like the fridge power, not a tower.

@Sideeffect @SigiKa Have a look at the updated Post

I have been searching the web obsessively for a solution to this lack of automation for the Apex300. It has been horrible having to manually toggle the DC on every day. Really looking forward to this update and hope it has local WiFi like you mentioned on Github.

By the way the below fork of Bluetti_MQTT is now working with the latest version of HAOS and is very reliable as well, my AC300 is working normally in Home Assistant again. GitHub - semitop7/bluetti2mqtt: Home Assistant Add-on for bluetti_mqtt

Looks good and Informative.

I hope AC and DC toggles are high priority and that the DC Hub will work when connected directly to the Apex. I think it should because it is then detected as part of the unit in the App. My next priorities would be Battery percentage and AC and DC real time usage monitoring followed by solar monitoring.

I was hoping that the Energy statistics could be shared. It would be nice to be able to track energy generation and usage through the Home assistant energy dashboard.

That is fantastic news!
I would love to use it with my AC200P L and attached B210.
I hope, they will get upgraded soon to support Home Assistant!

One set of parameters that I often adjust and that would be nice to control via HA, are the SOC Limits for UPS. (E.g. for balancing battery protection through minimum discharge and available energy buffer depending on the prediction of available sunlight.)

Congrats on the release… eagerly awaiting ep760, Apex300 and ac200l support, especially via local lan mode.

Cheers, AP

This is wonderful to see! I’d like to voice support for including the AC200L since it is a popular unit for folks.

Yes also AC200L please.

Yeah, really wonder why they only include EP2000 and not the other “older” Home Storage systems like EP600, E760, EP800 and so on

APEX 300 is coming really soon. Local LAN Mode is in development, but support new devices throgh cloud connect is their prioriry right now.

They told me the may work on local integration mid 2026

@aorr @msantic I think they focus at newer units first to sell them as “HomeAssistant ready”. But they also say, that every wifi enabled unit could be used with this in the feature. So its theoreticly possible, they just need to adjust for each unit

Its really basic for now, but the core features are already useable

Hey @Heiko

They have many other devices on their list currently, when the unit does have a wifi unit, it most likely get support some day
