App not receiving confirmation code in emails

When I tried to register the Bluetti App, I was not getting the confirmation emails. I have a personal domain (e.g. something like firstname@lastname.com ). After a while I gave up and used a secondary email account ( myname@mac.com ) and the confirmation code went through quickly.

I see people complaining about this over 2 years ago: Reddit Thread with at least one person saying it was still happening as of 4 months ago:

okay i stumbled upon this thread. seems it’s still a problem using custom domains, i really wonder why they won’t send verification codes to emails with custom domains. imagine registering test[at]bluetti[dot]com and they can’t even in their own app :rofl:

Oddly, I had zero problems receiving confirmation emails from:

  • the Bluetti store
  • this forum.

So it seems specific to email confirmation code sent when registering the App only.

Generally, we recommend that customers use common email domains. Custom domain names are easily blocked by the system, which may result in interrupted communication.
Would it help if you register with a different email address?
Please also check your email’s spam folder to see if the message was blocked or filtered.
