I had some trouble getting my app set up using one email address, so I used a second one (See App not receiving confirmation code in emails) So now I have two accounts (I’ll call them A1 and A2).
I’ve been using A1 for a few weeks, but I’d like to move everything to A2.
First try: changing the email account on A1 to that of A2:
- Bluetti App / Me / My Account / Security Center / Email
- enter current email, click ‘get code’ button, get verification code and enter it.
- enter new email, click ‘get code button’, get error message: Account already exists.
So, apparently I can’t change the email on A1 to the email from A2, because A2 already exists. I guess this makes sense.
Next try: what if I just stop using A1 and start using A2?
- Bluetti App / Me / My Account / Sign Out (signing out of A1)
- Bluetti App / Login / log into A2
this works, but of course I have no data.
- try connecting to my Apex 300 - get the error message that the Apex is already bound to another account.
This makes sense.
Here’s my question:
If I un-bind my Apex 300 from Account A1, and then re-bind it to Account A2. What will happen to my existing power/energy data? Will it transfer over? Or will it be lost?
