What does 'PV Parallel Enable'?

What does ‘PV Parallel Enable’ in the section ‘DC Input2:’ ?

Hi @Tinkerpete , For EP500PRO, The two DC input ports are independent, and the DC1 and DC2 ports can be connected in series with 3*PV200s respectively, so there is no need to use parallel connections.

Hod did this internally work? I have 2 * 1200 W on DC1 and DC2. What happens, when i switch on ‘PV Parallel’?
