Preventing Solar Charging Over 95%

Hi Community,

I have an AC500 B300s set. Being blessed with a lot of sunlight I have set the UPS to Solar Priority with low SOC of 15%. I am wondering if there is a way to prevent the battery be fully charged by solar. I’ve been reading that charging to 100% all the time is not good for the battery’s health.
Throughout the day, there is an output between 80W to 1000W (powering my office, freezer in the garage, and laundry loads when needed …) But most days the SOC goes between 100% to 99% from 11 am to 5 pm when the EV comes home for a slow L1 charging.

Thanks,

T

@tl0114 Sorry, there is no way to prevent solar energy from fully charging the battery.
The photovoltaic will stop charging when it reaches 100%. And to avoid overcharging and overdischarging the battery, the machine is set with 90% DOD to protect the battery.

Time control mode is only available for AC charging.

Thanks. Good to know that “the machine is set with 90% DOD to protect the battery”…
