I’ve heard that I can perform Pass-Through-Charging with my Bluetti EB70S but it can be damaging to the battery because it’s not officially certified to do so. Is this true?
I only have the EB55 and it allows pass through charging and powering, so I suggest testing your unit.
I have read that using pass through charging especially on a regular basis can impact battery capacity over time. As I understand it will depend on the efficiency of the pass through system. I believe all will be effected to some extent with current technology not just your model.
I also saw Hobotech mention this in passing recently.
