"pass through" and battery health of AC200 Max

Hello sunhouse: Concerning your AC200MAX.
I would be a little hesitant to use those 3 x 410W panels in series because the AC200MAX maximum input using the solar is supposed to be 900W a little over is ok, but I don’t think you should connect more than 2 of them. Your OCV is ok and your IMP is ok, but your solar input may get too high for the AC200MAX.
I currently have 2xPV350’s (OCV/VDC)= 46.5 x 2= 93 and 1xPV200 (OCV/VDC)=26.1 for a total 119.1 well within operating range for the AC200MAX.
The PV350 IMP (AMPS) is set at 9.2 and the PV200 set at 9.7, so the only problem here is the IMP will be lowered to the lowest number, in this case 9.2.
The total amount of watts generated from solar will be up to 900 (a little bit more in excellent conditions) is ok.

You can safely over-panel, for example I have 2000 watts of solar connected to my AC200Max’s PV input. As long as your voltage is within spec, it can not harm it. It self regulates power to 920 watts.

Regarding the original topic. My Max will get its self to 99% (2X B300’s @ 100%) and if I have for example a 500w output, my max will limit the input to around 500 watts and stays at 99%. While it use to seemingly go to 100% and stop charging and start back up charging at 99%, it not modulates the input to match the output. I suspect it is the result of one of the firmware updates I’ve done.

Thanks for kind words, we feel and truly appreciate every supportive word and action from people all over the globe and especially across the oceans. As a person that each day lives in the world of loss and raid air alarms, I have to say that it is really important to know and see that we as a Nation are not alone in the face of unprovoked aggression

As for your doubts regarding the 3 x 410W panel setup & AC200 MAX… such setup works for almost a year for me and showing a great performance. No issues at all. I only caught BUS Voltage High error two times this summer… from what I remember, during lightning.
