Mounting PV200 panels on roof?

Total newbie question!! We’re planning to purchase the AC300 + batteries to support an off-grid cabin with 24/7 power. I see that the early bird sale has a package that includes PV200 panels, but looking at the Bluetti panels, they seem to be meant more for temporary setup, not permanent mounting (likely the roof for us, which has a good slant to it) - is that a correct assumption, or am I just totally mis-understanding?

Anyone else doing something similar, and want to share their planned setup? Thanks!!

Yep, the PV200’s are for portable temporary use. For a cabin roof definitely go with a fixed mount panel which will probably perform a bit better, last longer and watt for watt will be 1/2 the cost of a portable.

@avlena yea like @eric102 touched base on, the Bluetti panels are fantastic for portable use but you’re gonna wanna rigid panels that will also hold up to the elements better. Check out https://santansolar.com/ for some cheap big panels!

The Bluetti panels are an elegant solution for limited space or emergency filling of battery. They are *NOT * MADE FOR EXTENDED OR EVERY DAY USE. THERE IS copper wire connecting the 4 section and copper can only bend so many times till it breaks. They are one of the absolute best portables out there.
