today I installed my solar modules, and as usual the cables are quite thick. And then I noticed that the middle pin of the input socket on the EB150 is only a tiny pin of about 1mm. Is this a safe connection for 10A/60V?

I saw your other post and replied to it there. It is not undersized because the 7909 connector center pin does not carry all of the current. The inner diameter of the connector is the positive connection and the outside is the negative connection. If you have a meter, you can measure the voltage from the inside to the outside of the connector.
