Hi, It’s Seot 4
Winter is quickly approaching.
I need to button up my power to my offgrid cabin and my new Apex300
When can we purchase the Solarx 4k?
Respectfully

Hello, the US, Canada, Japan, and Australia will release it in early September, while the EU and UK will release it in mid-to-late September.

Hi,
do you have a better date? I feel like early September is kinda over. Looking forward to being able to add some solar panels to my installation. Thanks

Hello @jlaine, the SolarX 4K is currently available in the Bluetti store. You can select either cable type, or select an entire bundle. The basic unit is also $100 off right now.

I bought my solar X 4K on the indigo go website they sent me my table for my parallel connection to my Apex 300. I have three of them. My question is on the website. It is pictured or it looks to be in the picture that cable has a communication connector. The other two cables it looks like they’re a R 45 jack that you connect to the can one of the solar X 4K. But the cable I received did not have that jack is this cable built properly or do I need to contact blue Bluetti for a new cable thank you for any help

Hello! With my SolarX 4K I ordered the P090 battery connector cable, and yes it does have that CAN bus connector. However, both mine and the other P150 battery cable allow a connection to only a single Apex 300; whereas the one you have can connect to 2 or 3, and I believe that is the reason there is no communication cable included. I have read something to that affect as well, and have not found where I saw that, but I think it is normal.

Thank you for your response. When I go on BLUETTI website it shows a CAN connector. That is why I was wondering

I don’t know if you see this picture

Yes, I do see the CAN port on their picture. The thing is though, is that there is no CAN connection on the XT-60 end of that cable. The XT-60 plugs have only the two power connections; whereas the P090D and P150D battery connection cables do have data connections as well as the power connections in the cables. Also, the Apex 300 does not have a CAN connection port separate from the battery ports, so there would be no-where to plug such a cable into.

I spoke with BLUETTI and they said that it does not need the Can connection , so it might be a marketing mistake. Anyhow, I’ve been using the cable without the can and it seems to be working fine. It charges all three but not equally one will pull more power than the other than it’ll switch to another then switch to another. I’m assuming that’s how it’s supposed to work but not for sure. I also ordered the AT1 smart distribution panel. I talked with one of the IT guys at Bluetti and he says he thinks it will be a game changer BLUETTI. I’m really excited about getting that unit and seeing if it will help me with Stream lining my power usage and combining several steps together to save me time.
Have you heard anything about it? I want to use it as a whole house back up with my three units. (Apex 300.)

I’m quite sure it is a marketing mistake, it’s the only thing that makes sense. I have heard about the AT1 during the campaign, but nothing detailed. I do like the way it all fits together though. You’ll have to let me know how it all works together if you get it all set up.

On the solarX 4K is the PV input 150 - 500 volts and
17 amps? It just seems really low if that’s the case

I just purchased and installed a SolarX 4k in order to power 3 - Apex 300 units and 9 B300K batteries to provide power to my home. The Apex 300’s and B300k’s work great. but the Solar X 4 K is up to now a disappointment. Currently I have 13 - 220 watt solar panels producing about 226 volts and 1600 watts of power. I was getting this kind of power from a mere 8 - 220 watt solar panels through my AC300 using it’s two ports. Why am I getting such low performance out of the SolarX? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

My problem is, I have 4 B300Ks (2 sets of 2 that plug in and use both input ports on my AC500. Where would I put the SolarX if there are no more input ports on the AC500. There are 2 P150D input ports, a PV input port and the 120 volt AC input port. I have both P150D Cables plugged in with fat Bluetti cables. I just ordered the SolarX 4K and am wondering where can I plug it in?

Hello,
it is connected directly to a free port of a B300 or B300K using a P090A connection cable.

@steveM1 I have a similar configuration and the same issue with powering three Apex 300 from the SolarX. The problem is that the SolarX limits its output voltage to 35 volts, which combined with the 55A limitation on total current limits the theoretical maximum power to 1,925 watts. In reality there are some losses that reduce the actual delivered power to about 1700 watts, which is only half of the rated output using the parallel cable. This should be easily fixed with a firmware update to the SolarX 4K to increase the voltage to the 58 volt maximum and hopefully also increase the max current to 60A when using the parallel cable.

Interesting… let’s hope they do a firmware update to fix this issue. Its very frustrating. Thanks for the information glad I am not the only one suffering… LOL
