Can the EB150 be laid on its side during use or storage?
Yes as long as it is not in a place where it is subject to a lot of vibration (moving car). Make sure the vents are not blocked.
Li-Ion batteries can be placed in any orientation and won’t spill like some lead acid. He reason why not with lots of vibration is just the internal mounting may be made for a particular orientation, and if mounted in a different way and shaken a lot may cause it to come loose. But if it stored on a shelf and doesn’t move, it will be OK in any position, as long as vents are not blocked.
