I know energy cannot be created or destroyed… my question is. Will 2 solar generators being charged at same time use more propane or gas than just 1 charging?
Yes it will. Same as driving two cars instead of one.
If your talking about using a generator to charge 2 as opposed to 1 then yes but not necessarily twice as much fuel. Theres a certain amount of power used just to run the generator at zero load no matter what. You would use more fuel if you started the generator and charged one device and then another afterwards as opposed to charging 2 at the same time. Thats assuming your generator is rated to do what your asking. But this is easily proved simply by doing it and then sharing your results. Im betting it takes more fuel to charge them independently.
