Charger 1 for Land Rover Defender p400

Hello I have a Land Rover Defender 2024 p400 with the Hybrid system. It uses a 48v starter motor to charge the 48v hybrid battery which is converted to 12v to charge the starter battery. I want to hook up the Charger 1 but I don’t know if the starter motor will provide enough power to use more than 100W charging which I already get from the cigarette lighter. Do you all have experience with this setup?

Also I want to connect the charger to terminals in the photo attached to the DC to DC Ground. Is that ok?

@mtrver Hi Dennis,
Connect Charger1 to the 12V battery. As for the power capacity of the starting battery in the car, it may need to be confirmed with the vehicle manufacturer.

Using the DC/DC ground shown the photo is ok vs a Earth Ground?

@mtrver The frame also serves as the negative terminal and ground. As shown in the picture, just connect the left and middle parts together.
