Is this charge , discharge and charge again , is that strictly a boot up fix for problems , or an advisable thing to do right out of the gate for the 200 max?
thanks

In my opinion it is a good idea to drain to 0 and then fully recharge on a regular basis to keep the BMS system in calibration. I have done this for years and have not experienced any occasions of wandering state of charge rates from the meter.

The big question is what you mean by “regularly”!

Regular for me would be every 5 months. I set the date on my calendar.
I do it three to four times per year not counting the infrequent times I am actually using the equipment for its intended purpose. The worst thing you can do is drain to “0” state of charge and then leave the unit without charging it. I see many instances where their expensive device “won’t charge anymore” simply because it was drained and not recharged again in a timely manner.
