Hello everyone,

I’m seeking some advice on an issue I’ve been experiencing with my UPS unit, and I’m hoping someone here might be able to help me troubleshoot.

I’ve been using my UPS unit to power my PC for several months without any problems. However, I encountered an issue when I used it during a trip, and it drained completely. Despite plugging it into AC power, it refused to turn on until the next morning.

Recently, I encountered another problem where the unit’s AC output suddenly got cut off, causing my PC to shut down. Upon inspecting the unit, I noticed a red text that says “SHORT,” and then it shut off completely. After waiting until the morning, I was able to turn it back on. The light and DC output seem to be working fine, but whenever I try to turn on the AC output, the unit shuts off again.

I’m at a loss for what to do next. Any suggestions or troubleshooting steps would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your help!

I updated the firmware on the app, and after the update, the unit’s battery charge suddenly dropped from 100% to 25%. I attempted to charge the unit by plugging it into the electricity, but the UPS indicator did not turn on, and there was a loud explosion inside the unit. It did turn on again after some minute but the AC output still shut the unit off if I turn it on.

Hi @Darven, if you heard an explosion in the unit, this is not normal.
