I have a question re. app management and the Charger1.
When I turn off charging in the app for the Charger1, why when I turn the car off and then back on, the app automatically switches back to charging on? Doesn’t it make more sense to leave that option up to me? If I turn the Charger1 off, I want it to stay off until I turn charging back on.
Thank you

@matthewpetrich
Charger 1 is set to “Charging: On” as default. With your concern, don’t connect the output cable to the power station will solve this issue.

This is because we wanted to be hassle-free. You get into your car, Charger 1 will automatically turn on when Charger 1 “recognized” the battery voltage is safe to turn on. Otherwise, it will only pull about 0.345mA when is on idle.

I do understand this setting will bring some concern, but we still wanted a hassle free + worry free charger, rather than user have to keep going through the APP/charger to turn on and off the charger. I believe a average user will check and concern at the beginning, but after using for a bit, they will appreciate the hassle free + worry free style charger.

Hello,

I measured mine and couldn’t detect any change over a period of more than 30 minutes. The Charger 1 stays at about 45mA the entire time, charging ist turned off in the App and then disconnect from bluetooth. There’s no idle time at 0.345mA. The battery voltage was a constant 12.8V during the measurement.

Does the Charger 1 have any kind of standby mode?

If the Charger 1 is turned on, but no power station is connected, it draws about 55mA. I would be happy if there was a way to put the Charger 1 to sleep, where it only draws 0.345mA.

Regards

Hi @fluchderpixel, Unfortunately, we currently cannot reduce the power consumption of Charger 1. I’ve already forwarded your feedback to our R&D department, and we hope they can find a solution.

Could you please provide us with your Charger 1’s serial number? We’d like to attempt resolving this issue by pushing a firmware update that would enable automatic shutdown after vehicle ignition is turned off.

Yes, of course you can have the serial number. It’s 2447000701332. Thanks for the support.

Another question: I’m charging an AC60 with charger 1. Most of the time it only runs at around 100W, but sometimes at 200W. The voltage is set to 28V, and the vehicle voltage fluctuates between 12.8V and 15.2V.

Is there any way I can influence the AC60 to always run at 200W?

Hi @fluchderpixel, Thank you for getting back to us so quickly.
We have requested to push the latest ARM firmware for you.
Our IT department will push the firmware to your unit in 1 working day.
Please upgrade the firmware tomorrow. Please do not load any device when upgrading it.
Please let us know if it does help.

Regarding the issue of low charging power on the AC60, please check whether the Silent Mode is enabled, as it will limit the charging power.
Additionally, we would like to know the battery level of the AC60 when the issue occurs. If the battery is nearly full or the internal temperature is too high or too low, the system will automatically limit the charging power to protect battery longevity. This is a normal phenomenon.
