I have never noticed this before.
Usually the charging station works in “silent mode”.
After a recent firmware update (IOT: v9041.10; ARM: v4039.06; DSP: v405503; BMS: v1020.01) I have noticed several times that the charging station makes a terrible sound like a hammer drill, while working in silent mode (it is much louder than the standard sound from the cooling system).
If at this time you go to the settings and turn off the “silent mode”, then thisterrible hum disappears…
Even my neighbors wrote to me what kind of terrible sound it is, it is so loud.
Maybe someone can tell me what kind of problem this is…
Hi @Pururum, We are very concerned about the issue you are experiencing.
Could you record a video of the problem, upload it to a cloud drive, and share the link with us? Additionally, please provide the SN code of your EP500PRO so we can check its upgrade history.
If you prefer, you can also contact us directly via message. We will follow up and work on resolving this matter promptly.
Unfortunately, I got a little nervous at that moment and didn’t take a video.
I switched the device to silent mode again in the hopes of reproducing the problem and taking a video.

Hi @Pururum, Yes, please try to capture a video the next time the issue occurs. Of course, we all hope that the issue won’t happen again.
We consider the problem could be related to the ambient temperature or the internal temperature of the unit, which may cause the fan to run at higher speeds, resulting in noise.
Additionally, please check if the EP500PRO is overloaded and ensure that the surrounding area of the device is well-ventilated for cooling.
Sure.
No, the sound was not similar to the sound of a fan, I thought that someone was working with a hammer drill and was very surprised because the whole house was without electricity.
Only the refrigerator was connected to the station, the refrigerator consumption is 100-150 watts, so it was definitely not overloaded.
The only thing was that “silent mode” was turned on.
I don’t know why this sound occurs and what can generate it. Could it be the inverter?
But it is definitely something that is affected by the “silent mode”.
Because as soon as I turned off the silent mode in the settings, the sound stopped.
(I thought that maybe the device overheated and that if I turn off the silent mode, it will cool down and it will be easier for it)
It is not clear.
I continue to observe.
Hi @Pururum, Thank you for getting back to us so quickly.
Thank you for your analysis, we believe it makes a lot of sense.
Additionally, please ensure that there are no obstructions in the ventilation openings.
We appreciate your patience and cooperation. Please record a video when the issue occurs and contact us, and we will continue to follow up on this matter.
By the way, please note that if you need my assistance, please @BLUETTI_CARE, otherwise, I might not see your message and be able to help you promptly.
