I purchased a new B300 and charged it once with the AC Adapter. I had not used it but went to “top off” charging and noticed the barrel connector for the charging adapter appears to have fell into the unit (no longer available on the chassis - only a hole).
I contacted Bluetti with photos and they confirmed defective. The unit has never been used - only initially charged upon receipt. I wanted a B300 instead of the new units to pair with my AC200MAX to maximize capacity.
Bluetti won’t provide any assistance as it wasn’t purchased directly from them.
Has anyone else had this happen? Has anyone opened the unit and attempted repair? I have an electronics background, but wanted to solicit input before I cracked the case.
Thanks in advance.
Hi @JeffChandler
welcome to the bluetti community forum!
When you buy Bluetti products from authorised shops, Bluetti deliever the same support as you would buy directly from them. I think it would be the best to check the possibilitys for a professional repair by Bluetti first, befoure open anything yourself. If you do something wrong, this could lead to serios injurys.
@BLUETTI_CARE Can you have a look at this case and maybe help @JeffChandler with this case?
Thanks
Erik

Most manufacturers will provide their manufacturer’s warranty no matter if you bought it via the manufacturer or from a third party resellers. But your seller should be your first point of contact for warranty. At least under EU consumer law. Your seller has to provide the warranty for you. They may use the manufacturer to do the repair but you have a contract with your seller, not your manufacturer. Any manufacturer’s warranty is extra.

The seller (eBay - [eazybuyclub]) will not respond to messages and eBay has not responded to a general question (contacting someone in eBay has proved impossible). The feedback time has expired.
I reached out to Beluetti hoping they would provide some options. I agree that one would hope they would stand behind their product and offer a repair alternative, but the response from their support channel has been to acknowledge the unit is defective and since it was not purchased from them, my recourse was back to supplier. (Request 231308 to BLUETTI Support; replies from Henry).
I’m looking to see if I can get the unit repaired before I break it down and try to repair. I’d appreciate any guidance.
Jeff
You may need to check the consumer law of your country for the proper way to handle this legally.
Some options are:
- Legal action against your seller. Under EU law this can only be done if you bought it from a professional seller. If you bought it from a consumer, EU consumer law does not apply.
- Asking @BLUETTI for a (Paid) repair.
- Take it to a generic repair shop.
- Repair it yourself.
Here is a way how to open the B300 battery. It may come handy when you let a non-Bluetti repair shop do the repair or repair it yourself
Be aware of risk of shock and/or risk of fire when you open the unit yourself and do things wrong.
I would like to see that Bluetti would just allow their manufacturer’s warranty to apply for the warranty period no matter from which seller it was bought. With most other manufacturers of electronics it works this way.

Hi @JeffChandler, We are very concerned about the issue you raised and have conducted an investigation into it.
We couldn’t find the seller you mentioned, (eBay - [eazybuyclub]), among our authorized distributors. As a result, we are unable to provide the corresponding repair service.
However, if you can provide the invoice, we will contact the seller directly to confirm the matter. Please send the invoice via private message.
We do recommend that customers purchase from our official store or authorized distributors. If customers are unsure, they can contact our customer service team before placing an order to confirm whether the seller is authorized.
If you agree, we would also be happy to try providing repair guidance for you. Do you agree? We hope this can help you.
Thank you to @Selfmadestrom and @TheQuickFox for your attention and answers to this matter.
Please note that our warranty policy applies only to legally authorized purchases. If stolen units have entered the second-hand market, we are unable to provide warranty service. Additionally, if customers purchase counterfeit products from unauthorized stores, we are also unable to provide warranty. We hope this is understandable.
