Regarding updates to the Apex 300 and batteries, I have received two more updates this past week, and I installed both yesterday. The BMS for my single B300k (the rest are all B300 batteries) went from v1067.10 to v1067.16. The second update was the DSP for the Apex 300 which went from v2174.14 to v2174.16. Now I wait for enough sun to get the system charged to 100% by solar and see if it is stable now.
Thank you for your response; however, the issue I was discussing was regarding the AC output turning off after charging to 100%, and not regarding a discharge issue. ![]()
Hello, could you please provide me with the error code? You can find it by clicking on the exclamation mark on the device details page.
Just for clarity, my issue is the same one that @snowstorm opened this discussion about. And, unfortunately, my system does not report any error code. It simply turns the AC output off. I simply turn it back on and it works normally until the next time.
@snowstorm has been good about updating this discussion with his progress, and in turn I am updating it also with updates I am receiving so we can keep current with support progress, and to keep you (@BLUETTI ) updated with the effects of the updates. I am hoping that these latest updates this week will resolve the issue.
And thank you, @BLUETTI, for your attention and support!
Here’s an update. This past weekend I (finally) had two days with similar weather conditions, and both sunny. The first day, Saturday, I saw the state of charge get up to 100%. After that the Apex 300 shut off the AC output, and this happened twice, about 80 minutes apart. Both times there were no errors flagged on the Apex 300 or SolarX 4K, and I only needed to press the button or the app to turn the AC output on again.
Just as interesting is that Sunday was the same, with an abundance of sunshine, but at no point did the AC output turn off.
I don’t understand the different behavior. However, it does mean that I cannot trust my system to keep my fridges, freezers, water pump, etc. powered. My internet is normally powered through the Apex 300 as well, and I have had to put my Elite 30 V2 to use as a UPS to keep the internet up in case the Apex 300 shuts off while I am away so I can turn it back on again via the app when I remember to check it. This also means I cannot use the Elite 30 V2 for the purposes I bought it for.
Here are the current versions on my system:
IoT: v8026.13
ARM: v2204.13
DSP: v2174.16
BMS: v1073.07
B300k BMS: v1067.16
B300 1 BMS: v1024.07
B300 2 BMS: v1014.18
B300 3 BMS: v1014.18
B300 4 BMS: v1021.15
@BLUETTI, if the B300 BMS version v1014.21 that @snowstorm has been testing is still showing positive results could you send that update to my system as well? My s/n is AP3002509000069149.
Hello, I have registered your device for the firmware upgrade. Please wait patiently.
Hello, I hope you and all the support staff had an excellent holiday time! I just wanted also to touch base as I have not yet seen the updates for my system.
I appreciate you all! ![]()
For what it’s worth, I recently charged my system up to 100% several times and did not experience the AC shutoff issue at all. My Apex 300 IoT, ARM, DSP, and BMS firmware are the same as @hnymann but all of my B300 are on v1021.15, and all of my B300k are on v1067.16.
Thank you for your update, @Wretched_Refuse, it sounds very hopeful to me then, that once I get the v1014.21 BMS for the two B300’s that need it, my system may become reliable as well. ![]()
I have been using v1014.21 BMS on my B300 with Apex and is stable for a few weeks.
Very good to hear, for both (all) of us. ![]()
Oops! While reviewing these recent posts I realize I forgot to tag @BLUETTI in my post above. Including that here. (send updates please!
)
Hello, have you recieved the new fimware?
No, I have been checking pretty much every day, but the update(s) have not shown up for my system. I will certainly appreciate if you would check on this for me.
Hello, BMS106715 has been pushed. Please check for the update.
Hello @BLUETTI and thank you for your attention to this. However, my B300k is already at version v1067.16. On the other hand, based on other owner’s comments in this thread, the B300 BMS version v1014.21 has stopped the AC turn off bug.
Could I please have BMS version v1014.21 sent to my Apex300 with s/n AP3002509000069149? I have two of that series of the B300 battery.
Thank you!
Hello, I have registered your device for a firmware upgrade. Please wait patiently.
Hello, please tell me the sn code of your B300
That presents somewhat of a problem. Mostly because the battery serial numbers are not listed in the app under the Apex 300 – the app duplicates the Apex 300’s serial number as the B300 battery serial numbers.
In my system I have two B300s that use the v1014.18 BMS (the one I need updated), another one uses v1021.15, and a fourth one that uses v1024.07 (all currently installed BMS versions).
If you truly need the serial numbers I can do that, but I will need to shut the system down and disconnect and unstack each of the batteries as the serial numbers are on the bottom in my experience.
(for @BLUETTI)
Hello @BLUETTI ! I did get the updates this past Friday, and have them installed on those two batteries. Thank you for that, and now I’ll monitor the system and hope that the issue is resolved for me as well.
