Due to viewing constraints myAC60 needs to be on its back.
In this position the auto turn off of the screen does not happen.
Its does work when in ‘correct’ vertical position.
Any thoughts why this is?
Thx

Hi @WJS
welcome to the bluetti community forum!
Interesting case, never hear something like this befoure. Is it only the screen that dont turn off or also the whole unit that cant turn off?
The Bluetti-Team will be back tommorrow, hope they can have a look at this case. @BLUETTI_CARE
greetings
Erik
Hello and welcome to the forum @WJS I would think in the first instance @BLUETTI_CARE would say it shouldn’t be used on its back as it is t designed to be used in that position it would increase the stress on the internal components.
As for the screen staying on when lying on its back could it be that is is constantly putting pressure on the button for the light on the rear of th ac60.and that is keeping the screen on. Just a thought.
Thx Erik
On its back the unit will not auto off the screen.
And whole unit will not auto off too.
It’s a annoying as it is in a remote location and I was hoping to charge AC60 via solar unattended.
Now it just runs down the battery until I physically turn it off when solar is not there…
Any comments from Bluetti on this?
Hi @WJS, We do recommend that customers properly position the AC60 for optimal operation. Ktt’s response is absolutely correct.
When the AC60 is not placed with the front facing forward, it can lead to poor cable connections, affecting heat dissipation and data transmission, which is not ideal for the long-term maintenance of the power station. When placed correctly, the AC60’s screen should function normally, which means the AC60 is not malfunctioning.
If it’s for convenience, we suggest using the Bluetti app to connect and view the specific charge and discharge status of the power station.
Thanks to Selfmadestrom for their concern on this matter.
Thank-you everyone for the replies.
I still thinks it is weird not to turn off screen and unit if its on its ‘back’.
