AC50s stops responding during charging

Hi. I own an AC50s, that is easily my daily go-to sogen. Recently, I’ve noticed that, during charging (whether solar or AC), the unit stops responding. The power light still shows, but the screen is unresponsive. I have to disconnect/reconnect the power source in order to get it to work again.

Is there a way to correct this?

@brudnicke Do you mean the AC50S will stop output when you charge it whether solar or AC?

I have no output via DC or AC when charging the unit. This happens when, and only when, I attempt to charge the unit itself using AC or DC (solar / car). It just stops responding.

@brudnicke Maybe the screen is just off during charging? When charging, is the adapter light always red?
