AC300 Went from 36% to 0%. Why?

Dear Bluetti Community,

This morning while I was heating water for coffee, my AC300 went into alarm for a 054 error–the DBAT drain error. What was alarming was that I was on 36% and my water had only been heating for maybe a couple minutes.

I have already checked that my cables are well-connected. Can anyone else try to offer some trouble shooting or hypotheses about why this happened? I won’t be able to plan my days around the AC300 if I can’t predict that it won’t shoot down to 0% at random points.

Thanks for your time and consideration.

Hi @bluettiover, From the error code, it seems that the battery may be low power, and also, low temperatures can cause errors as well.

We would like to know how many batteries are connected to your AC300 and the current charge levels of each. Could you try disconnecting the batteries and charging the one with no power separately? Does that help?

Additionally, please power off the device and place it in a warm area for about 3 hours.

Once the issue is resolved, we recommend recalibrating the battery to help restore its optimal state.

I have the same problem. As instructed I drained the 4 batteries on my ac 300 after 6 months. The AC300 did not shut down but stopped putting out AC power and DC power. I hooked up my solar and my generator to charge the batteries. I can turn on DC power but cannot turn on AC output. It is up to 6% but I cannot clear the 054. d bat error.
After charging to 6% I could turn the AC power on But the AC 300 never shut itself down like it did the last two times I drained the batteries .

You can try to do a battery re-calibration to make sure the battery meter is right:

Hi @Yazz, Error code 054 indicates a low battery alarm, and the B300 is in urgent need of charging.
Please refer to the previous reply: disconnect the connection and charge the battery pack separately. You can try AC and DC charging.
After that, please check @TheQuickFox’s video to perform recalibration, which will help fix the issue.
