Hi… I have a small RV with a LifePo4 battery that I am trying to charge with my new AC200Max. The smart shunt on the RV says that it is only drawing around 300 watts, but the AC200Max is outputting around 600 watts.
Does anyone know if this is normal?
The shunt is showing you only the amount of energy going into the battery, not the total amount of energy being used by the charging system. If you’re using some kind of smart charger plugged into the Bluetti, and using that to charge the battery, it’s possible the charging system itself is using 300W.
