AC200 to the rescue

Interesting. I’m still considering some kind of external battery that could boost the AC200P in case ourtage extends (not much sun in winter)

Without hacking the AC200P you could connect an external battery to the solar/car input and charge the Bluetti (set to “car” charging mode). But a 12V battery will only charge at about 100W (limited to 8.2 amps of current). I’ve tested this myself with a separate lithium iron phosphate battery (lead acid should be similar).
