Ac200 max solar charge watts drops off when charging from external battery pack

Having troubles with charge controller I think. I have a large 36 volt battery bank that I’m using to charge my ac200max. The watts on input showing is 540ish. After 15 or so minutes, the watts start dropping off and will land close to 0 in 30 minutes. If I unplug and plug it back in, the watts will recalculate back 540 the the cycle repeats. I have one of your chargers for solar input and puts out about 450 watts, continuous, with no problems

Hi @Tdefr4 , based on your question we helped you consult the relevant engineers, they will continue to communicate with you by email. Thank you!

I heard from your expert. The ac200max is not designed for 36 volt input.

Despite the manual clearly stating that it can take anywhere from 10-145VDC.
SI

And even if there was a deadzone between the solar input and “car charging” range of input which states 11.5-14.5V for a 12v battery and 23-29V for a 24v setup, they should release that information to the public.

I also know for a fact that some others have issues with inputting well above that car charging voltage and attempting to use a 72v input as well, with the same results.
