Hi @Tezzabee, We have consulted with the technical team regarding this matter and learned that the function can be turned off via the app instead of rolling back the firmware, which is more convenient.
Would you agree to this solution? This approach can avoid potential risks of firmware rollback and save you time. I hope it does help.
Hi @BLUETTI_CARE ,
Thank you for your reply.
I don’t currently have the facility to turn the function off in my app. Is it the upgrade to IOT that is showing in my app today that will enable an on /off function?
If so I would be happy with that.
Will my AC70 also be able to receive any batch pushed upgrades after that please, as currently it can’t.
Thanks for your help
Hi @Tezzabee, You are welcome, it’s our pleasure to help you. :)
Please confirm that the AC70 is correctly bound and connected, not via Bluetooth direct connection. Meanwhile, please confirm your Bluetti app is the latest version.
Then navigate to Advanced Setting and turn off the System Switch Recovery function. We have attached a screenshot for reference.
Note: The password required is 8 consecutive 8s (88888888).
Rest assured that this operation will not affect subsequent batch firmware pushes. We have no plans to push new firmware to the AC70 shortly, but if we do, you will receive a notification and can update normally.
If you need further guidance on the steps or encounter any issues, feel free to let us know!
Hi!
I own AC180P, used it for a year, and bought AC200PL a month ago. I was shocked in a good way that you added this feature to AC180P. I thought that kind of stuff was impossible.
But could you please tell the boys at the R&D department to hustle up a bit so they add this to the AC200PL models too?
Given the way things are going here in Ukraine, we’re probably gonna use your products as 24/7 UPS again soon.
Thanks!
Привіт.

Hi @VSM and @Pletenets, Thank you for your attention to the AC200PL. We have forwarded your suggestions to the R&D department and hope they can complete the relevant work as soon as possible. This may take some time, as the newly released models recently have a high demand for new firmware, and this requirement may be scheduled later.
We understand your expectations for the product and will keep following up on the progress of this matter. If there is any new information, we will inform you in time. Thank you for your understanding and support!
@BLUETTI_CARE Hi!
I kindly remind you, that this functionality for AC200PL was requested 6 months ago in this very topic, and was requested in other topic even before that. Plus, as it was already implemented for AC180, there should not be a lot to research and develop for this feature for a similar model.

A lot of customers are waiting for it, so saying it’s not a priority is a bit harsh: if support for products that were released a mere 1-2 years ago is cut out, then this makes customers reconsider buying new ones too: we are concerned, next year something new will come out and current product will be neglected regarding updates and fixes.
Thanks!
Hi @BLUETTI_CARE ,
I have installed the IOT update. My app was also recently updated. I still do not see the system switch recovery in advanced settings, only AC output frequency and Grid self-adaption. This is an AC70, not AC70P, in case that makes a difference. A special update was done some time ago via this forum thread. I was told at the time the update would mean the AC70 would not receive normal updates after that, and that the feature would be ‘always on’ , but the update could be removed in the future. It is bound to my account.
Hi again @BLUETTI_CARE , I have copied your previous posts for easier understanding, I hope this helps
Hi @Tezzabee, Yes, we have received the message you sent yesterday. We already requested the new firmware for you yesterday.
However, we apologize, as the engineers informed us that the new firmware is currently only available for certain batches of the AC70P. The new firmware for the AC70 has not yet been fully tested, so it may take some more time.
We have urged the product development team to push the firmware to you separately. We have received a response, and they said they can push the firmware to you. However, the firmware is still not fully mature, and once pushed, this feature cannot be turned off. Do you agree with this? This could potentially create certain risks. For example, if you’re boiling water before a power outage, enabling this feature would allow it to continue boiling when power is restored, without needing to be manually turned on, which may result in an unmonitored situation. Once confirmed, we will push it to your AC70.
Hi @Tezzabee, We have urged the technical department to push the new firmware ARM v2751.71 again.
They informed me that this new firmware is temporarily incompatible with other new firmware. After upgrading to this ARM v2751.71, your AC70 will not be able to receive other batch-pushed firmware.
However, if you need, we can help you revert to the original firmware, and then you will continue to receive other new firmware updates.
Hi @Tezzabee, Thank you for getting back to us so quickly.
We have pushed the new ARM2751.71 to your AC70, you can upgrade it whenever as you wish.
Due to the limited number of similar customer requests, it is unlikely that we will have other batch-pushed versions in the near future. I’m afraid we cannot provide you with a specific timeline.
NB this was the AC70’s firmware prior to the update:
AC702427000781008
IOT V 9046.01
ARM v 2151.01
DSP v 2106.06
Hi @Tezzabee, Thank you for your feedback.
We discussed this matter with the technical department, who found that the new firmware for the AC70 wasn’t properly compatible with the latest app version. That’s why you can’t find the button to enable the System Switch Recovery function.
We’ve urged them to finalize the compatibility promptly, and it will be available in the next app update. Please upgrade your app by then to access this feature.
I appreciate your kind understanding and patience.
Hi @snmya, We fully understand how you feel and are more than willing to help. We have pressed the R&D department again to expedite the new firmware for AC200L and AC200PL to enable the System Switch Recovery function.
We hope to finalize this as soon as possible and will update this post promptly upon receiving feedback from the team. Thank you for your patience.
I have an AC300, AC70 and an EB3A that are all put in service as an UPS (given it was advertised to do so) and suffers from this problem. Are there recent firmware updates that fixes this problem and allow the AC and DC output to be restored when power comes back?
I’ve also ordered a APEX300, does that have the same issue as well?
Hi @BLUETTI_CARE ,
Thank you for looking into the issue.
Do you have any idea when the update might be available, please?
Thank you
Hi @snowstorm, We’re sorry that not all AC300 units can upgrade to this firmware. Currently, we’ve only completed the firmware for versions starting with ARM 4037, and the same applies to AC70.
Please provide the SN numbers and current firmware versions of your AC300 and AC70, and we will check if new firmware can be pushed.
As for EB3A, we haven’t developed related firmware.
As for the Apex 300, the new model already comes with the System Switch Recovery function pre-configured, which can be achieved without firmware upgrades. After enabling this function, when the battery level drops to 0%, the system will memorize the on/off settings of AC/DC.
- When the device is connected to an AC power source, once the SOC recovers to 5%, the settings will automatically turn on according to the memory.
- When the device is not connected to an AC power source, after the SOC recovers to 5% and the output remains off for 30 consecutive minutes, the settings will automatically turn on based on the memory.
By the way, please note that if you need my assistance, please @BLUETTI_CARE, otherwise, I might not see your message and be able to help you promptly.
Hi @Tezzabee, We have consulted the R&D department again, but they still haven’t provided a timeline for the app update function.
We’re sorry that we can’t give you a definite answer yet.
Here are the SN for my AC70 and AC300, can you check if an updated firmware to enable such system recover / memory function is available? The AC70 is used to backup a small freezer so this function is important.

Hi @snowstorm, Thank you for getting back to us so quickly.
We still need the current firmware versions of your AC300 and AC70.
You can find it on the Settings page.
Then we will apply the new firmware for you.
Here are the firmware versions of my AC70 and AC300, SN below. See screen shot for latest firmware installed.
AC702338000845322
AC3002210000580926
Can you also advise what other commonly available Bluetti units have this recovery function to function as a UPS? Does the AC180 have it? If I buy a new AC70 today, would it have it too?
Thanks again for your help
Hi @snowstorm, Thank you for your attention to this matter.
For some version batches of AC70, AC180, AC18P and AC300, the System Switch Recovery function can be achieved by pushing firmware.
All versions of Elite 200 V2 and Apex 300 have this function built-in, and it can be enabled through the app without upgrading.
The version of your AC70 meets the requirements, so we have pushed the new firmware for you.
Now I have applied to upgrade your system to our IT department. They will push the latest version of firmware to your unit in 24 hours.
Please upgrade the firmware tomorrow. Please do not load any device when upgrading it.
Please let us know if it works.
The version of your AC300 does not meet the requirements, so we cannot push it for you.
Thank you, I’ll don’t see a new firmware available yet, but will wait a day.
It was mention that some AC180 and AC70 (the non P) have this capability to be updated. How do we know at time of purchase? Is there a date after in which all AC180 and AC70 would have this capability? As you can imagine, the ability to resume AC automatically after power failure and restoration is extremely important to use this as a UPS. Otherwise, it can be worse than not having it at all if you are trying to backup a fridge/freezer.
