Hello
I have the AC180 and an ICECO refrigerator. I wanted to use the AC180 in UPS mode in conjunction with the Charger1. I am not 100% sure how this would work. Does the DC in coming from the Charger1 get converted to AC and flow right through to the ICECO refrigerator which is plugged into the AC180 AC outlet while driving? Is the extra power being generated from the Charger1 then used to keep or top off the AC180 while driving? I wanted to make sure that when I park my vehicle and the engine is off, the Charger1 will stop charging the AC180 and the ICECO refrigerator will immediately start using AC180 battery power (UPS mode).
Thank you for any information you can provide.
Matt
The Charger 1 will supply into the AC180’s DC/PV input port. It will charge the battery as it is DC power, and some of it will be converted to AC as well to power your fridge. When the engine is turned off, the Charger 1 with Adaptive Mode enabled will stop charging the AC180, and the AC180 will draw on its internal battery to supply AC to your fridge.
Thank you for confirming!
That’s the perfect solution for me.
