Just purchased 200V2. So far. The reviews which prompted my purchase are all true. :yum Here is my issue.
-
I plug my television into the 200v2. I loose my ethernet connection. The television says, internet connection
lost.
-
I unplug the ethernet cable from the TV. TV plugged into 200v2. I can receive internet if I use WIFI.
-
If I plug television into wall outlet. And turn on 200v2, with fan plugged in. The ethernet cable to the
television works. (I thought maybe “electromagnetic interference” from the 200v2 ?). Was causing the issue.
-
I even draped the ethernet cable over the 200v2. Fan plugged into the 200v2 and running. TV plugged into
wall outlet. No problem. Ethernet connection to TV works fine.
-
Only when I plug television directly into 200v2, I loose ethernet connection. NO internet connect message on
TV.
Please help. Thanks in advance for any advice. I’m sure I cannot be the only person with this unique
issue.
Hi @wolfwolf, We are very concerned about the issue you raised. We would like to know whether you are using the home grid directly, whether you are using a power strip, and whether there is a surge protection switch?
If you can take a video, upload it to a cloud drive, and then share the link with us, it will help us further analyze the problem.
Is the ethernet cable STP or UTP? Generally it should be labeled on the cable itself. You want STP for some limited protection against EMI. If it says UTP (unshielded twisted pair) that might explain your problem. S is shielded.
Thanks for your suggestion. Per my original post. I only loose the ethernet connection to the TV, if the TV is plugged into the 200v2. If the TV is plugged into wall outlet or power strip and the 200v2 is powered up, with a
fan plugged into the 200v2, I do “not” loose my ethernet connection to the TV.
I even draped my ethernet cable over the 200v2. And I do not loose my ethernet connection to the TV.
Only loose my ethernet connection to TV if TV is plugged into the 200v2.
Hope there is an easy fix. I cannot be the only person with this problem.
Thanks again.
I tried to describe the problem in my email as detailed as possible. I plugged into power strip or into wall outlet.
(not using the power strip). Same result. Seems only when TV is plugged into 200v2, I loose my ethernet.
When I read the instructions, it said to download the latest app. Which I have not done. Would this cause me to
loose my ethernet connection to the TV.
Thanks, I hope you or a poster, can find the solution.
The AC inverter on the Bluetti unit uses high-frequency switching to convert from DC to AC power. This generates EMI. If your cable is unshielded and close to the Elite 200 V2 it may cause the connection to drop. You can either try to distance the Bluetti Elite 200 V2 farther away from the ethernet cable which will reduce EMI significantly with distance, or get a shielded ethernet cable (STP). Try to distance the Bluetti Elite 200 away from the ethernet cable as far as possible to see if it improves.

Thanks for the response. Per my previous post. I draped the ethernet cable on top of the 200v2. I have no problem.
Ethernet connection to TV, works fine. TV is plugged into wall outlet. 200v2 is on, and powering an AC, fan.
However, if I plug TV into 200v2, I loose the ethernet connection. TV says, no internet connection.
I think, I will try another TV with ethernet. See if the problem is somehow related to my first TV.
Right so when you do that, how close is the Ethernet cable to the Elite 200 V2 at that point? You need to isolate the TV away from Elite 200 to see if the Ethernet issue exists. So like use an extension cord or something to distance the TV far away from the Elite 200 (and the ethernet cable as well).
Hi @wolfwolf, It seems you have contacted us via email. Could you please let us know your service ticket number? Then we will compile all valid information to troubleshoot the issue.
Is your router directly connected to the home power grid? When the Elite 200 V2 loses network connection, are other networked devices also affected?
Generally speaking, logging into the app and upgrading all firmware to the latest version can bring the power station back to its optimal state.
Thank you to @sealy1986 for the answers and analysis, which are very helpful.
