No. I don’t use wifi. I connected with the app directly through Bluetooth. It shouldn’t matter either way.
Seems like a weird problem with firmware levels and functions between country models? Do you have the availability to the same firmware levels I showed?
(I tried another phone that did not have the app installed to test if the phone was the problem, it’s not… )
Hi @jurgen, Yes, we have a new ARM firmware that enables Sleep mode, which hasn’t been sent out in bulk yet.
Now I have applied to upgrade your system to our IT department. They will push the latest version of firmware to your unit in 24 hours.
Please upgrade the firmware tomorrow. Please do not load any device when upgrading it.
Please let us know if it works.
Hi @jurgen, we have arranged to push the new firmware again.
Have you received it now?
I hope it does help.
Hi, does the 100v2 have this feature? How much power drain is there during SLEEP mode? This means wifi and/or bluetooth are still active, right? The point is to be able to activate the power station remotely, like a remote start generator. Thanks.
It does seem to me that the unit is never 100% turned off. It uses a “soft” power button so the internal CPU must be powered enough to listen to the button. And, they say to recharge the battery every 3 to 6 months if the unit is in storage, while USB powerbanks will retain charge for years. Anyway, a mobile phone in standby mode uses a few tens of milliwatts and that’s with the cellular radios and other stuff active. BLE dongles are way in the sub milliwatt range (the Apple Airtag runs for a year on a coin cell battery).
PS I’d like to request it for the 100v2 if it isn’t already present.
Is it possible for the unit to automatically wake up and start charging when it’s in Time Control mode and the scheduled charging time arrives?
Hi @jurgen, That is great!
Thank you for the update, and we’re glad to hear the good news! I’ve also shared it with the technical department, and they are equally delighted.
Hi @Louis1, I appreciate your interest in BLUETTI.
Yes, the Elite 200 V2 supports the time control UPS mode.
You can set the charging time, discharging time, as well as the minimum and maximum SOC (State of Charge) according to the grid electricity prices.
Hi @BLUETTI_CARE please can you respond to @paulr question regarding the Elite 100v2 having/getting this feature.
If not this is another disappointment for current the units I and many others own, this being new 100v2 not getting a very useful feature and the AC200PL not yet receiving the switch recovery function.
@BLUETTI_CARE hi, the PR200V2 now does not go to sleep at all. Wether sleep mode is enable or disabled, it does not sleep. Nothing is connected and AC and DC are off.
@BLUETTI_CARE
When both AC and DC outputs are turned off, the device will be enters shutdown or sleep mode. In this state, it doesn’t start charging at the scheduled time because it’s powered off or asleep. I suggest updating the firmware to allow the device to automatically wake up when the scheduled charging time arrives, or alternatively, prevent it from shutting down automatically and keep it powered on.
Hi @paulr, thank you for getting in touch with us.
We’ve inquired with the technical department about this matter, and they informed us that there are no current plans for Elite 100 V2.
The reason is that the power consumption of Sleep mode is still relatively high at 5-6W/h. Currently, this feature is only added to new models with a capacity of 2kWh or more. For small models, their inherent smaller capacity would make this feature a burden, so there are no plans to implement it for now. However, we’ve been working hard to optimize the power consumption of Sleep mode. If we succeed in reducing it in the future, we will add this feature to other new small models, including the Elite 100 V2.
Thank you to @Teece for your attention to and reminder about this matter.
Hi @jurgen, Could you tell us your app version and whether it has been updated to the latest one? In addition, what is the minimum SOC value you have set? Please provide a screenshot to show us your settings.
Thanks to @Louis1 for the professional explanation, which is very helpful!
@BLUETTI_CARE hi, it does not matter whether sleep mode is disabled or enabled. Soc level is set below real soc level. Versions as in screenshots, should be up to date.
Hi @jurgen, We guess that it might be due to the protocol version not being updated.
Please restart the device first, then enable the sleep mode. Under normal circumstances, the screen should turn off directly.
In addition, please note that you need to return to the SOC main interface, scroll to the bottom, select “Sleep Mode” and confirm to active it.
@BLUETTI_CARE
Hi, i disabled sleep mode.
Shut of the device.
Disconnected everything.
Turned on the device.
Enabled sleep mode on 20% while soc is 53%.
Device remains on indefinitely…
It does enter sleep mode when I press the power button.
