100v2 Time Remaining Question

What appliance is plugged into the killawatt meter? 335Wh used / 671Wh consumed by the generator = 0.498. Assuming generator efficiency at 85-90% would net a power factor of around 0.55–0.60. A fan or certain lights can easily result in those numbers.

An electric blanket set to 40 watts for 8 hours and 7 minutes.
Since this model has a 12-watt inverter self-consumption (it dies in 85 hours from 100 to 0), 335 + (12*8) = 431Wh out of 1024, which means it used ~42% of the capacity and should have ~58% left, not 27.
Also, 100 V2 displays apparent power only. It should be active power on small loads and 40 watts output, not 64.
As for 25.7 hours remaining - no comments.
I already explained all of this in my thread.

Once you said electric blanket I knew right away it’s the Bluetti unit at fault.

Wow thanks @VSM for the thread link and I’ll not worry about the estimated time remaining anymore, and just hope they re-do how they calculate things in the future since it’s so incredibly inaccurate.

So @BLUETTI_CARE, just log my estimated time remaining issue next to VSM’s and smiller’s if you can. I’ve been using the Time Control UPS feature every day since I got the 100v2 to power some networking equipment when my electricity price is high and recharge from the grid when the price is low, and the power station lasts about 17 hours rather than the 95 hours that is shown below. If I do the simple calculation of 1024Wh * 0.95 battery capacity remaining / 55w power draw, that results in 17.6 hours, and this very basic calculation is a much better estimate than the 95 hours the 100v2 is showing. Same for my screenshot from last night (shown above) when 34% was remaining, doing the same 1024 * 0.34 / 62 = 5.6 hours rather than the 32 hours the 100v2 was showing. I know this simple formula doesn’t account for a lot of stuff but it’s still far, far more accurate than what the 100v2 displays.

Hi @dparson55, Thank you for your concern about this matter.
If you also need it, please let us know the current firmware version of your Elite 100 V2, and we will check if there is a new firmware available for push.

@BLUETTI_CARE If this is an issue (estimated time remaining) some one Elite 100v2 isn’t it an issue on all, why is the firmware enhancement not made available to all Elite 100v2 devices but only those who complain about the issue?

Thanks @BLUETTI_CARE, here are my100v2 versions along with the unrealistic time remaining.

Hi @Teece, We don’t consider this a widespread issue—only a small number of customers have reported it. If we were to push notifications about this to all customers at this point, it would disturb the majority of users.
We don’t recommend that users who haven’t encountered the issue perform an upgrade, as it would serve no purpose for them.

Hi @dparson55, thank you for letting us know.
Now I have applied to upgrade your system to our IT department. They will push the latest version of firmware to your unit in 24 hours.
Please upgrade the firmware tomorrow. Please do not load any device when upgrading it.
Please let us know if it works.

Thanks, it’s been 3 days but I’m not seeing the update yet. Here’s what I see:

I have the same problem with the remaining time not being displayed correctly. EL100V22527008227258 Today I updated the station’s software, but it didn’t help. 98h remaining time with 50W consumption.

Hi @dparson55, We have consulted the technical department about this matter. They informed us that your firmware is already the latest version, so no further updates can be pushed.
Please recalibrate the unit and then test if this resolves the issue.

Hi @Sanchezz13, we would like to have the current firmware version of your Elite 100 V2. Then we will check if there is any new firmware available.

@BLUETTI_CARE I have PM’d you directly with my serial number, please can you push me the latest update, current firmware detailed below.

Elite 100v2
IOT v8024.11
ARM v2186.15
DSP v2200.14
BMS v1083.07

Thanks.

I also noticed that while the battery is discharging, the battery status shows as “Standby” not “Discharge”.

I have the some problem of time remaining not being displayed correctly. It displays the remaining percentage instead of hours and minutes. EL100V22527011595346 BMS v1083.07 (there is no newer version to update).

Hi,

I’m having same issue… I’ve sent you a PM with my info. Hope you can solve it
thanks

Could you provide the recalibration steps? I tried draining the battery to 0% and charged to 100%, but the estimated time is still showing the same bad estimate.

Hi @Teece, Thank you for the update.
We have applied to upgrade your BMS. Our IT department will push the latest version of firmware to your machine within 24 hours. Please upgrade it tomorrow.
Please do not load any device when upgrading it.
After that, please recalibrate the system.
