Hi all: looking for a more streamlined battery backup that can handle my laptop on the road as well as a CPap machine (resmed airsense 10) at night if needed. What are the specs for the DC093 cable that comes with the X20? I’m wondering if I can use something like a 5.5x2.5 MM baryl connector to 12V socket plug and then plug that into my existing 12V DC adapter to my resmed? The Resmed 12v adapter upconverts the voltage from 12v to Resmed’s native 24V, allowing me to power the machine from any bluetti SoGen as long as it has a 10A regulated 12V port. (I’ve tried this with an old golabs SoGen that had an 8A car plug and it overloaded immediately. I’m also wondering: how does the X20 select voltage when something’s connected to the DC output? I’m assuming you can’t set exact voltage through the interface like you could on the old OmniCharge products?
That X20 output port is 20VDC not 12VDC. The X20 is only 12Ah and other than the 20VDC output is USB A & C.
I thought it was 20V Max but the voltage was variable?
There are 4 power outlet ports.
- Bidirectional USB C (In/Out) This port has a variable voltage output @ 5/9/12/15/20VDC @ 100W max. This means it is demand driven and by the device it is powering. i.e. it can charge a laptop with a USB-C charge port providing it is less than 100W draw. Or, it can charge a set of headphones @ 5VDC, if that is their charge rate.
- DC093 port - This port is a fixed 20VDC @ 8A or 160W max and with the cable and various adaptors will power most laptops. (I got my X20 as a prize from Bluetti and unfortunately my current Dell is not one of them.)
- 18W @ 5VDC USB-A port
- 10.5W @ 5VDC USB-A port
Your Resmed unit specs are 53 to 104Wh of power requirement. The X20 has a 153.6Wh battery and does not equate to a 12V outlet other than the USB-C port and this needs whatever is plugged in to control that draw. It does not support 24VDC. However, best case is 2.9 hours of runtime, worst case is 1.5hours. In my opinion nowhere near enough for a nights sleep.
Hey @Shuteye ! I think you should check out the x60 station bluetti has. Literally designed for cpaps!
Oh interesting re: fixed 20V output… so I guess the adapters throttle voltages depending on what laptop is plugged in. Thanks for perspectives on this :) Re: the X60 - looks pretty nifty, but I was looking for something a bit more travel size. I can get a full night’s sleep with my CPap on a bluetti AC-2A with a 204WH battery so figured the x20 could power it in a pinch, but not with 20V fixed output, I really thought that thing was variable.
