It happened once before so I knew what to do.
Factory reset doesn’t do it. I powered down (after removing all solar panel connections). Powered up and it went out after the 30 second sleep setting.
Before doing the Power Down thing, oddly enough, after I turned the brightness all the way down, it would go bright again after the “30 second sleep” time, then go dim again after touching it. sort of reverse
